Another crossover has been announced for the free-to-play platformer fighting game Brawlhalla, which has already seen plenty of collaborations. This Super Smash Bros.-like fighter has a dedicated following, complete with a competitive community that regularly holds tournaments. The roster of Brawlhalla has over 50 characters that have incredibly diverse movesets, with some of them coming from famous franchises.

The crossovers that have been a part of Brawlhalla have varied wildly, with gaming, cartoon, and other intellectual properties represented. Some of the recent additions to Brawlhalla include characters from shows like AMC's The Walking Dead and movies Dreamworks' Kung-Fu Panda. Even Capcom's Street Fighter added iconic characters from its roster to Brawlhalla, with Ryu, Chun-Li, and Akuma making it in. The latest crossover coming to the game will be Hasbro's G.I. Joe toyline.

In a trailer reminiscent of the old-school G.I. Joe PSAs, the ever-popular Snake Eyes appears to help Kaya out in providing strategies for her battle in the tournament. It then proceeds to show off some of Snake Eyes' moves, where he can use a variety of weapons to take out the competition. These include his katana, a pair of guns, and even his animal companion Timber.

The trailer also reveals that fellow G.I. Joe Ninja Storm Shadow will also be joining Brawlhalla's roster. Some of his moves are also demonstrated, where he primarily relies on his bow and arrow to launch his opponents around. He also carries a katana that can slice up his opponents, along with explosives that can deal massive damage.

Plenty of tips and tricks were listed on a PlayStation blog post about Brawlhalla, advising players how these characters can be played. Snake Eyes' companion Timber for example can be used to finish off weakened opponents, as it is a powerful bite attack with a bit of range. He can also cover plenty of ground and attack players off the stage using his grenades. Storm Shadow on the other hand is incredibly quick, and can close the gaps between players using his Bow that can give opportunities for a follow-up that can finish their opponent.

The blog post notes that these two characters are available now in the game, along with some related additional content. This includes a set of six avatars, with one of them being Cobra Commander. There will also be a new Arashikage Dojo map added that will be a part of the Showdown game mode.

Brawlhalla is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
