Boruto chapter 72 dropped recently and covered quite a lot of interesting plot points. With Code having unlocked his true Karma power, fans expected him to put on a show in his small clash against Daemon, however, the opposite ended up happening and Code lost the fight terribly.

Thanks to his transportation jutsu, he managed to survive and in the recent chapter took to Isshiki's dimension. There, he came across the massive 10 Tails that was introduced earlier in the series. Fans already know how terrific this beast is, and now, thanks to Code's ability, it has been turned into something even more monstrous and quite possibly frightening.

Code's Ability

code boruto chapter 72

Code possesses an incredibly overpowered ability that he utilizes with his claw marks. Usually, he makes use of these marks to transport any part of himself to a different place that is also marked with the same material. Fans have seen this ability be used on various occasions now and its application is certainly quite dangerous. Recently, this jutsu was also compared to Minato's Flying Thunder God and it was stated that it is far superior in comparison. Interestingly, transportation isn't the only ability that Code can use with his claw marks.

In Boruto chapter 72, fans got to see a brand-new application of his powers. According to Code, his claw marks are made by mixing iron from his blood with embodied chakra. This means that they can interact with any form of chakra and manipulate them accordingly with their ability. This was seen in full action in Boruto chapter 72 when Code coated the entirety of the juvenile Ten-Tails in his claw marks.

The Humanoid Ten-Tails

Humanoid Ten-Tails Boruto

The Ten-Tails was revealed to be a seed that feeds on the chakra of a planet and drains it of all its life force. At some point, a full-fledged Otsutsuki is fed to the Ten-Tails in order for it to bear a powerful chakra fruit. Previously, it was Isshiki's goal to feed Boruto Uzumaki to the Ten-Tails once he came back to life in Kawaki's body. However, Code seems to have different plans for the beast, at least for the time being. Since the Ten-Tails is an entity made of pure chakra, Code's claw marks can easily interact with him and manipulate him accordingly. Due to having all his limiters removed, Code can now extend his claw marks on an unlimited scale.

By covering the entirety of the beast in it, he was able to split parts of its body into smaller entities that resemble a humanoid version of the Ten-Tails. They possess tremendous power and, while their exact level of strength remains unknown, they are quite formidable. Furthermore, they also bear Code's claw mark, meaning they can also use his transportation ninjutsu with ease. This implies the beasts are not only very powerful but also possess the ability to use very useful jutsu that can aid them in battle. In the upcoming arc, they will most certainly be incredibly relevant. However, how exactly Code plans to deploy them hasn't been seen just yet.

The Role Of Humanoid Ten Tails In The Future

Boruto Chapter 73 mission

Since the Code arc recently wrapped up, Boruto will now be looking to start its new arc. Recently, Shikamaru summoned Team 7 for a brand-new mission, detailing it as something that only Boruto and his team can take on. At the same time, Code created his many Ten Tails humanoids which are sure to come into play in the upcoming arc. Fans will likely get to see them cause hindrance for Boruto and his team as they set out on a new mission. Being created from the Ten-Tails, it is a given that these beings will be quite powerful.

In Naruto's Fourth Great Ninja War, fans saw the Ten-Tails split itself into smaller beings, which is quite similar to what Code did in the previous chapter. Surprisingly, those Ten Tails clones were rather weak. Since the story needs them to be narratively strong, it is likely that these humanoid Ten Tails will be far stronger. A hint of their power was given to the fans when Isshiki absorbed the beast's chakra before setting out to fight Naruto and Sasuke.

With a mere fragment of its power, he was able to overwhelm both shinobi at once. As such, these fragments of the Ten-Tails are likely going to be strong enough to stand their ground against even Karma wielders. That said, their true power can only truly be judged when they engage in combat against the heroes of the story and fulfill their purpose. With the likes of Kawaki, Boruto, and possibly even Konohamaru going to be the ones in the way of these humanoid beasts, fans are likely to see some high-octane action in the upcoming Boruto chapters.
