Borderlands fans are an extremely dedicated group, and that dedication has extended to the world of cosplay over recent years. One Borderlands cosplayer has gone above and beyond with her psycho cosplay, as every bit of the look is tailored to match the iconic enemy type of the series.

Going by the username Hallogeenlamp, the cosplayer poster her psycho outfit to Reddit. Donning the look of a regular psycho as opposed to cosplaying as the beloved psycho Krieg, the Redditor shows off the amazing cosplay through a series of photos. The iconic mask, tattoos, and buzzsaw axe wielded by the the enemies are all seen in the design, with ripped fishnets and armor on the cosplayer’s arms, and an old belt on her waist, the costume comes together to truly complete the look of a Borderlands psycho.

Hallogeenlamp also created a special variant of the costume to celebrate Halloween, with a pumpkin decoration attached to the psycho mask and a cel-shaded pumpkin held to match the appearance. The cosplayer joins an impressive lineup of video game costumes that were shown off this year, one of which saw Big Sean wearing an Among Us outfit. Hallogeenlamp’s cosplay may have the Detroit rapper outclassed, however, as plenty of love clearly went into the psycho design.

Hallogeenlamp’s psycho outfit is just one of many awesome Borderlands cosplays that have been shown over recent years, as the cosplaying community for the series is incredibly strong. With the ability to make oneself appear cel-shaded, Borderlands cosplay opportunities open up for anyone skilled with markers and costume design. Hallogeenlamp has created numerous Borderlands costumes in the past, including an outfit based on one of Borderlands 3’s Vault Hunters.

Hallogeenlamp cosplayed as FL4K The Hunter last month, using her dog in place of one of the character’s pets. The outfit is as well-detailed as Hallogeenlamp’s psycho design, featuring the character’s ripped cloak and cel-shading lines on every piece of the robot’s armor. With FL4K’s Multiverse Final Form skin recently revealed, perhaps Hallogeenlamp will dress up as the sentient machine once again. With the Grand Archivist version of FL4K looking vastly different from the original, though, it would take a lot of work for any cosplayer to pull off the Multiverse look.

For players more interested in playing Borderlands than bring it to life, the new Arms Race DLC mode arrives November 10 for Borderlands 3. Aside from gameplay that mashes roguelike and battle royale games together, the mode will give Borderlands cosplayers more options to choose from with the return of Salvador and Axton.
