Borderlands 3 is no doubt one of the hottest online first-person shooters of 2019. The game's PC version was initially launched as an Epic Games Store exclusive title, but starting today, players on Steam are finally able to access the popular looter-shooter game. As an introductory offer on Valve's online game store, Borderlands 3 is currently discounted at the store right now and offers a good deal for PC players who have been holding off purchase of the game.

Borderlands 3 is available on Steam for $29.99, which is 50% off its original list price of $59.99. It is worth remembering that Steam's promotional discount for Borderlands 3 will only be available until March 21, so those who patiently waited for the game to be released in Steam should take advantage of the sale now while it is still available. During its brief exclusivity at the Epic Games Store, some wondered how Borderlands 3's PC version would sell without the backing of Steam's massive player base. As it turns out, Borderlands 3 for the PC still sold well despite the backlash of its timed-exclusivity.

Borderlands 3's second DLC, which is titled Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, is scheduled to launch on March 26th. During a live reading of the upcoming DLC that was held at PAX East, Gearbox hinted that Hemivorous would be a future enemy that players will battle in Borderlands 3. However, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford warned players that certain plot points of the DLC could be subject to change.

Lastly, it appears that fans should be excited about the future of Borderlands 3. Apart from the upcoming second expansion, Gearbox's roadmap revealed that several fan favorites are returning to the game. Even though Borderlands 3 has been out for several months now, it is evident that Gearbox is committed to truly bringing top-notch post-launch content to Borderlands 3, and is thereby ensuring the longevity of the popular looter-shooter game.

Borderlands 3 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
