Borderlands 3 players who want to collect the most loot possible will want to redeem shift codes regularly. Borderlands 3 shift codes get players free golden keys that can then be used on the chest found aboard the Sanctuary III spaceship, often netting players some legendary-tier weaponry. However, Gearbox releases new Borderlands 3 shift codes on such a regular basis that some fans may find it difficult to keep track of which codes are still available and which ones have already expired.

There were six Borderlands 3 shift codes released for the popular looter-shooter near launch that are all still available at the time of this writing. One of the codes is even good for a whopping three golden keys, whereas most of the Borderlands 3 shift codes only get players a single golden key to use.

Remember that once a Borderlands 3 shift code is redeemed,  players have to visit their in-game mailbox to claim their golden key. With that in mind, here are all the currently active Borderlands 3 shift codes:

What's nice about Borderlands 3 shift codes compared to shift codes for past Borderlands games is that the codes are universal regardless of platform. In the past, there were different shift codes depending on if one was playing on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, which made things confusing and even harder to keep track of which codes one had already redeemed.

In the meantime, Gearbox Software will continue to release Borderlands 3 shift codes on a regular basis, though they will likely be hit with a short lifespan. Most of the Borderlands 3 shift codes released for the game post-launch are only available for a very short amount of time, sometimes just hours, before they expire. For example, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford recently released a Borderlands 3 shift code that expired the same day that it was released.

In the future, fans can expect the majority of Borderlands 3 shift codes to have short lifespans. That being said, the Borderlands 3 shift codes that were released near launch will likely work indefinitely, so fans should always be able to redeem at least a handful of shift codes regardless of when they start playing the game.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
