Borderlands 3 players have another new shift code to use in the game, but if they want to use it and claim their free golden key, they will have to act really fast. Randy Pitchford released the new Borderlands 3 shift code on Twitter earlier this morning, and it expires at 10am CT. That means Borderlands 3 players have just about half an hour from the time of publishing this post if they want to redeem the new shift code.

It's unclear exactly how the community feels about the way Gearbox has been distributing Borderlands 3 shift codes. Sometimes the shift codes are live for weeks, but other times, they are only available for mere hours at a time. The Borderlands 3 shift codes with shorter shelf lives seem to primarily be shared on Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford's Twitter account, so fans who want to make sure they get every single shift code will want to watch his page like a hawk.

Otherwise, it's quite possible that Borderlands 3 fans will miss out on getting the latest shift code and a free golden key in their game. But for those early enough to redeem the new Borderlands 3 shift code, here it is - WHKTJ-HT5ZB-9WJKW-3J3J3-3X3K6.

As usual, Borderlands 3 players can redeem the latest shift code through the Gearbox website or in-game. Once they do so, a golden key will be mailed to their character. Players can then access their Borderlands 3 mailbox to get the key, and use it on the chest found on the Sanctuary III ship. Players will be rewarded with top-tier loot for their efforts, and it's certainly less demanding than farming bosses or the like to get good gear.

Unfortunately, with the very short window of opportunity Pitchford has given fans to redeem this latest Borderlands 3 shift code, chances are many people will miss their opportunity to redeem it. On the bright side, Borderlands 3 shift codes should be released regularly for years to come, if previous games in the series are any indication. There should be plenty more opportunities to redeem Borderlands 3 shift codes in the future, so fans shouldn't stress too much if they happen to miss this one.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
