Borderlands 3 players should know the drill by now. Every weekend, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford releases new shift codes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and it's been this way since the game's launch this past September. As expected, Pitchford has released yet another Borderlands 3 shift code today, with this one available until Saturday, November 16 at 10am CST. This gives players a little less than 24 hours to redeem this latest code.
The new Borderlands 3 shift code replaces the surprise Thursday shift code that Pitchford tweeted out yesterday, though it has a similar shelf life. Those that want to redeem it can do so through the Gearbox Software website or in-game. Once it's redeemed, players will be sent a free Golden Key that they can collect from their Borderlands 3 mailbox. When that's done, they can take the Golden Key to the chest on Sanctuary III and open it to get some free loot. It may not be the most efficient way to get high quality loot in Borderlands 3, but it's certainly the easiest.
Here is the new Borderlands 3 shift code for Friday, November 15: WZWTB-3CS93-SKT5K-BBJB3-R9BHB. Remember that it expires on Saturday, November 16 at 10am, so anyone that wants to redeem the latest Borderlands 3 shift code will need to act fast.
You guys... it’s FRIDAY! That calls for a SHiFT code for a Golden Key in #Borderlands3:— Randy Pitchford (@DuvalMagic) November 15, 2019
Active until 10am Sat CST.

As always, we must remind Borderlands 3 players that stumble upon this post after the shift code has expired that they shouldn't stress too much about it. As previously stated, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford releases new Borderlands 3 shift codes on a regular basis, with at least three new codes expected this weekend alone. So those who missed out on this code should just check back later for the inevitable Borderlands 3 shift code that will be released on Saturday.
In the meantime, Borderlands 3 players have a lot more to look forward to in the looter-shooter than just shift codes. The Bloody Harvest event is starting to wind down, and will be replaced by the Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite raid. There's also the first Borderlands 3 story DLC to look forward to as well, which is set to be unveiled on Wednesday, November 20.
Details on the Borderlands 3 story DLC are scarce, but it's been teased that it will involve Borderlands 2 villain Handsome Jack in some way. Fans will find out come November 20.
Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
