Perhaps due to the 2K social media hacking scandal that took place this past weekend, Borderlands 3 fans haven't been treated to any new shift codes for the looter-shooter in a few days now. However, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has come in clutch with a brand new Borderlands 3 shift code that he tweeted out a few hours ago, which will be available to redeem until 10am on Tuesday, November 19.

The new Borderlands 3 shift code can be redeemed like any other shift code that has been released for the game. But just in case this is one's first time redeeming Borderlands 3 shift codes, the way it's done is through the Gearbox Software website or in-game. After redeeming the Borderlands 3 shift code, players can then get a free golden key that will appear in their mailbox. This key opens a chest aboard Sanctuary III and will get players some free high quality loot.

The new Borderlands 3 shift code for November 18 and 19 is WZCTT-5CSZT-ZW3KW-333JT-69ZW6. Remember that it expires at 10am on November 19, so anyone that wants to redeem this new Borderlands 3 shift code has less than 24 hours to do so.

While having a new Borderlands 3 shift code to redeem is nice and all, this week should be exciting for fans of the looter-shooter for other reasons as well. This coming Wednesday, November 20, Gearbox will be pulling the curtain back on the first major Borderlands 3 story DLC. We have no idea what this DLC will entail, but there are some rumors about a major character that it will supposedly feature.

If the rumors are to be believed, the Borderlands 3 story DLC will be all about Handsome Jack, the memorable villain from Borderlands 2. Additional details on the DLC are scarce at the time of this writing, but fans will find out more on November 20.

While they wait for Wednesday to roll around, Borderlands 3 fans can continue playing the Bloody Harvest event, and prepare for the upcoming Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite update, which essentially adds the first major raid to the game. 2020 should bring plenty more new content to Borderlands 3 as well, including many more shift codes to redeem, so fans should stay tuned.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
