Today is the final day for vault hunters to get their legendary loot from week 2 of the Borderlands anniversary event that is currently running in Borderlands 3. Rare Spawn Hunt week is ending in mere hours, but there is still time to farm for an increased change at some legendary drops.
The Rare Spawn Hunt is the event for the second week of the five-week long celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the franchise. It has promised players higher-than-average odds at some of the best loot in the game. Been looking all week with no luck or just want to find those last few that have been missing? Borderlands 3 YouTuber Arekkz Gaming detailed all 14 rare spawn locations as a reference for all.
Rakkman – Northeast of Carnivora map on Pandora
El Dragon Jr – In Mayhem Mode, at the back of the Leery Hamlet on Eden-6
Road dog – Can spawn in the center of the Splinterlands on Pandora
Indo Tyrant – Chance to spawn in the Floodmoor Basin on Eden-6
Force Troopers – Second floor of the Courtyard of Innovation – near the Typhon Log – at the Atlas HQ on Promethea
Demoskaggan –East of The Droughts on Pandora
The Unstoppable – In the center of the Ambermire on Eden-6
Thunk & Sloth – Inside the hangar on the eastern side of Konrad’s Hold on Pandora
Maxitrillion – On the top floor of The Family Jewel ship in the Voracious Canopy on Eden-6
Borman Nates – At the elevated bandit camp near the center of the Meridian Outskirts on Promethea
Princess Tarantella II –At the Sifted Mar, northwest of The Splinterlands on Pandora
Mother of Grogans, The Uncorroded, Queen of the Sewer Kingdom – Go to the northwestern area in The Anvil on Eden-6
Red Jabber – Southeast of the Ambermire on Eden-6
Urist McEnforcer – In the underground subway area of Lectra City on Promethea
According to Arekkz, five of these locations are the absolute the best places to farm for loot. Princess Tarantella II, Road Dog, Red Jabber,Force Troopers, and Mother of Grogans, The Uncorroded, Queen of the Sewer Kingdom are the most efficient of the 14 locations to grind for legendary drops.
Rare Spawn Week is ending, but later today Show Me The Eridium beings for week 3 of the Borderlands 3 celebration. This event narrows in on everyone's favorite Borderlands mineral, Eridium and increases drop rates across the board. This includes adding Eridium drops to standard enemies, increase the drop rate for Eridium in Mayhem Mode, decrease the Eridium cost for Moxxi's slot machines, and discounts on items purchased with Eridium from Crazy Earl's shop.
