Borderlands 3 has its fair share of glitches that continue to rise in popularity or live on in memory when they get fixed. This includes the Borderlands 3 Pipe Bomb grenade glitch and many of the infinite money glitches, but now there are a new set of glitches for FL4K that allow them to proc infinite damage and anointed effects.

The first glitch where infinite anointed effects can proc can be accomplished with anointed gear and a weapon that grants an extra charge of Rakk Attack. Preferably, the anointed gear should be a shield and a grenade that directly states, "on action skill end," as these effects usually include extra elemental damage that FL4K can do.

Basically, swapping to the weapon that grants an extra charge of Rakk Attack and then swapping back to a regular weapon will be considered an action skill being used even if the player does not have Rakk Attack equipped at all. Since swapping is still considered an activation, then players will proc the anointed effects of both their grenade and shield, earning extra damage for free and free damage is always appreciated in the Maliwan Takedown.

While that first glitch is simple and kind of unavoidable as FL4K, the second one that causes infinite damage is a bit more gear dependent and requires the farming of two specific items. The items that are needed are the Facepuncher legendary Hyperion shotgun and the Rough Rider shield that grants increased melee damage as its effect.

The Rough Rider is hard to farm as it drops from Urist McEnforcer in Lectra City who is a rare spawn. The Facepuncher also is dropped rarely from an enemy known as Handsome Jackie in Skywell-27. Luckily, there is currently a rare enemy event going on in Borderlands 3, so farm those items as they are needed for the infinite damage glitch.

After acquiring both of those items, the next process is simple. Simply go into the inventory and rapidly equip and unequip the Rough Rider. The longer it is rapidly equipped and unequipped then the better the damage output will be. Make sure not to leave the menu until enough damage is built up or else the glitch will have to be repeated from the first step. Once done, the Facepuncher will now transfer the damage stacked from the Rough Rider, pretty much making any enemy a one-shot kill.

The way it works is that the Facepuncher is unique in the fact that it accounts for the player's potential melee damage output and scales that into its own damage output. With equipping and unequipping the Rough Rider, it is stacking the increased melee damage trait over and over, causing a huge bonus to melee damage which makes the Facepuncher a one-shot. The glitch is a bit cheesy but it is pretty fun to use on other Rough Rider benefits such as infinite speed and blindingly fast reload speeds.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC.
