Moze, the gunner with the massive hulking machinery known as Iron Bear, comes flying across the battlefield in a blaze of explosive glory. As with each vault hunter in Borderlands 3, Moze has a variety of ways that she can be played, but many builds focus on the "Demolition Woman" and "Shield of Retribution" skill trees.

Some of the skills in these branches are essential for any solid Moze build, especially if you are looking to survive in the higher level mayhem modes. So today, we will take a look at what skills you should consider when crafting a build for this Torgue-like character for the most explosive payouts.

10 Vampyr

This is by far one of the most useful skills Moze has in her arsenal and since Moze doesn't have another way to heal herself, it is almost essential for any build. Vampyr allows Moze to heal herself by damaging enemies with her grenades. This skill works amazingly with almost any grenade in the game and just hitting one enemy can get you your full health bar back. When mixed with other skills that can get Moze grenade regeneration, this skill can keep you alive in almost any circumstance. The only downside to this skill is that you must invest pretty heavily into the "Demolition Woman" skill tree to obtain it.

9 Means Of Destruction

If you have dreams of an infinite amount of ammo that you can use to tear the Calypso Twins a new one, then Means of Destruction is for you. This skill gives Moze the ability to regenerate ammo in her gun's clip each time that she deals splash damage. This can be from any source whether it be a grenade or an explosive weapon. When combined with a weapon such as the Ogre assault rifle that has a massive clip, you can keep firing long after your enemies are a singed pile of ash in your wake. Did I mention it can also regenerate your grenades?

8 Desperate Measures

Desperate Measures is a skill that is used heavily with the Bloodletter Artifact and can you Moze a serious damage boost. The reason is that this skill gives Moze increased damage the lower her health gets. The Bloodletter Artifact reserves all of Moze's health except one. The combination of the two gives Moze the maximum damage increase that she can get from the skill. Typically, the Transformer Shield is used along with an electric grenade as well. All of this combined makes Moze one dangerous woman.

7 Armored Infantry

Armored Infantry is another skill that works extremely well when combined with the Bloodletter Artifact and Transformer Shield. The skill gives her and her allies increased gun damage as long as her shields are up.

Some builds have used this skill to their advantage and created builds that solely rely on shields making it so that damage bonus doesn't go away. When used correctly, this skill is definitely one of the most useful of them all.

6 Phalanx Doctrine

Continuing with the idea that you can have an infinite shield we have Phalanx Doctrine. This skill is one of the most useful when combined with the methods stated above. Each stack of Phalanx Doctrine gives Moze increased shields and damage for thirty seconds after killing an enemy. This can stack up to make a huge difference in the heat of a firefight. With the amount of damage that Moze can rack up, enemies will be dropping before you can even lay a finger on them.

5 Cloud Of Lead

Cloud of Lead is one of the few skills that is used in the majority of Moze builds. This skill gives you occasional incendiary shots from your weapon that don't consume ammo. This is by far one of the best advantages Moze has against fleshy enemies since the shot not only deals fire damage but also the gun's normal damage as well. When maxed out, this occasional shot comes out every fourth shot, which gives you a lot of incendiary damage and a lot of free shots especially if you mix it with a gun that has a large clip.

4 Stoke The Embers

Fire is Moze's wheelhouse and it shows with the Stoke the Embers skill. This skill increases all incendiary damage that Moze deals and when combined with Cloud of Lead, the damage boost is nothing to take lightly. Many Moze builds use this incendiary bonus damage to their advantage. If this skill is combined with Cloud of Lead, then no matter what weapon you use, whether it is ice, corrosive, or Moze's favorite, explosive, you will be dealing that increased incendiary damage and melt through the flesh of every psycho in the wasteland.

3 Pull The Holy Pin

Better watch out when the holy pin is thrown because it is scoring a critical hit. This skill gives all of Moze's grenades the ability to score critical hits which is an absolutely amazing feat. With the number of skills that Moze has that give bonuses when scoring critical hits, this skill is a must.

This skill works amazingly well with grenades such as the Hex which have a constant barrage on an enemy. The reason it works so well is that each tick of damage has a chance to be a critical hit. That makes this skill invaluable.

2 Redistribution

Coming back to the idea of infinite ammo, we have Redistribution. This skill gives Moze the ability to regenerate ammo when scoring a critical hit. Remember Pull the Holy Pin? Well, this skill works with that as well giving Moze a chance to be regenerating ammo at a constant rate. This skill can be increased further with the use of a class mod which can make it so that Moze will never need to reload her weapons. The enemies will run in fear from the only team member that can have an infinite amount of grenades and ammo at her disposal.

1 Short Fuse

Short Fuse is one of the capstone abilities that Moze can get and by far the best of the bunch. It causes Moze's weapons to have a chance to deal a secondary explosion whenever they hit an enemy. The damage that this can cause is absolutely amazing, especially when combined with the Mine Sweeper class mod. When combined, Moze can basically deal nonstop explosions to any enemy that comes across her path. It sounds terrifying because it is.
