Borderlands 3 has been out for over a week now, and the game has been a huge success for Gearbox Software. Not only has Borderlands 3 smashed sales records for 2K Games, but the game has also earned mostly positive reviews, amassing a large and passionate community in the process. Now that the game has been out for a bit, some of the artists that worked on the project have been able to add their work to their Artstation portfolios, including concept artist Max Davenport, who worked on characters like FL4K the Beastmaster and Moze the Gunner.

Davenport has posted some concept art for both FL4K and Moze from Borderlands 3, with the FL4K art even revealing what the character looks like without their baggy coat. FL4K's coat and armor makes them look a bit heftier than they actually are, as Davenport's concept art shows that FL4K is actually quite slender.

After Davenport posted the FL4K concept art on Twitter, some fans expressed their desire to see coat-less FL4K added to the game as an alternate skin. While such a cosmetic has yet to be announced, if Gearbox notices enough fan demand, we wouldn't rule out the possibility of it coming to the game at some point down the line.

In the meantime, FL4K has proven to be one of the most popular Vault Hunters in Borderlands 3, with their Beastmaster skills making them especially popular for solo players. FL4K's beasts can learn how to revive FL4K and some have the ability to heal them as well, not to mention attack enemies, which can serve as a decent replacement for a co-op partner.

Plus, some FL4K builds have been discovered that are absolutely devastating, letting players dish out an absurd amount of damage and absolutely melt enemies, including some of the game's tougher bosses. As fans continue to play Borderlands 3 and experiment with different builds, it's possible that even more powerful FL4K builds will be discovered. Of course, balance updates that Gearbox releases for the game may even make some popular FL4K builds less effective, so fans should keep that in mind as well.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Google Stadia version also in development.
