Later this week, Borderlands 3's first DLC, Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, will expand the story and setting of Gearbox Software's newest looter shooter. Additionally, the DLC will give fans the opportunity to pickup some brand new Borderlands 3 legendaries, and a recent datamine reveals 15 of the legendary weapons and class mods that players can find throughout the forthcoming expansion.

These new Borderlands 3 DLC legendaries were shared by Reddit user CREmACquesOM, who indicates that they were added to the game files with the BL3 patch that was released at the end of last week, and they can all be seen below. To note, the user states that these are only the new legendaries that can be spawned from within Sanctuary, and fans should thus expect to find even more legendary gear once they gain access to the DLC's new map.

With respect to the gear itself, it appears that each Borderlands 3 Vault Hunter will be receiving a new legendary class mod in Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. While some players will have already seen FL4K's DLC class mod, as well as the one for Moze, the other two are newly revealed, and CREmACquesOM has provided further details.

More specifically, preliminary testing points to Zane's DLC class mod having approximately 5% chance to proc, and the user has confirmed that it will only activate skills that a player has obtained. Furthermore, testing suggests that FL4K's DLC class mod caps at 600% weapon damage, and switching guns does not reset the mod's bonus.

Moving on to the Borderlands 3 DLC legendary weapons, fans that have played Borderlands 2 may notice that some of Moxxi's guns from that previous installment are being added in Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. They are the Heart Breaker, Creamer, and Slow Hand, and CREmACquesOM has confirmed that all of these weapons heal the player upon dealing damage, as they did in BL2.

While it remains to be seen if the loot that is being introduced in the new DLC will be able to rival some of the best Borderlands 3 legendaries, there are certainly some promising option upon first glance. Fortunately, with the Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot release date looming, players do not have to wait much longer before experiencing exactly how these weapons and class mods preform firsthand.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
