Jumping is more important than ever in Borderlands 3 due to the parkour and climbing features that are in the game. In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the game took place on the moon of Elpis, so the ability to double jump was a great way to gain an aerial edge over enemies.

The most important part of Borderlands is the insane amount of loot that can be earned through exploration, defeating strong enemies, opening chests, and completing missions.
The new DLC adds many new weapons and some are much harder to obtain than others. There are teleporters spread throughout the map that can send the player to an area they couldn't previously access, where brand new loot would be waiting for them.

Borderlands 3 is a great game to play solo, players can explore the game by themselves and they don't have to share their hard-earned loot with anyone. Even though that's a fun way to play, the game is much more exciting in online co-op.
When there are more players in the game, the enemies will grow stronger and have a better chance of dropping rare loot. The best part about working as a team are boss battles, as a well thought out strategy and a lot of firepower can take down even the strongest of enemies.
6 Hunt Down Gehenna's Most Wanted
Gehenna is a brand new planet but just like Pandora, there are a lot of violent outlaws out there that need to be taught a lesson. Just like in the main game, most wanted posters are included, with every area having a strong enemy surrounded by their henchmen waiting for a battle.
After every wanted enemy is defeated, the player will earn some nice new gear; once all wanted posters are completed, a very special prize will be unlocked.
5 Utilize The Mind Control & Explosive Plants
There are a lot of things in Borderlands 3 that can be destroyed, such as elemental barrels, piles of debris, and Eridium ore. Now there are plants that can be used in battle to defeat enemies in an interesting new way.
There are mind control plants and once they are detonated, they take over the mind of nearby enemies and make them attack their own soldiers. There are also plants that do explosive damage to nearby enemies, similar to the barrels in the main game.
4 Complete The Crew Challenges
In the main game, there are crew challenges that exist in every map that reward a large amount of XP, weapons, shields, and cash.
Bounty of Blood has these challenges as well but they are even better. Brand new weapons can be earned that are very fun to use on the DLC's new enemies. After completing all of these challenges, players will have explored all of Gehenna and uncovered its many secrets.
3 New Unique Weapon Abilities
If a weapon is of rare, ultra-rare, or legendary, then it's more than likely to have some special abilities. Throughout the entire Borderlands series, there have been guns with special abilities that grant extra headshot damage, elemental effects, restore health, and many other perks.
A unique and rare weapon like the Quickdraw was added to the DLC that reloads itself instantly and, once the gun is swapped, it does an extra 140% damage. There are many other new weapons that have their own special abilities waiting to be found in Gehenna.
2 Make Way For Mayhem
While Borderlands can be a bit difficult initially, things become a lot easier once players level up more, progress through the story, and earn better loot. Borderlands 2 had Overpower Levels which would make enemies level up while players stay at the level cap of 72. There were different Overpower Levels to choose from and they were pretty hard.
Borderlands 3 has something similar called Mayhem, with each level adding damage resistance, health, and more weapon damage to the enemies. This added difficulty comes with a greater chance of rare loot being dropped by enemies. This is a great way to get the new legendary weapons Bounty of Blood has added to the game.
1 Be On The Lookout For Shift Codes
Even though the feeling of defeating a boss and receiving ultra-rare and legendary loot is unmatched, it takes a lot of work. There is a way to bypass the grind for gear and that's by using shift codes.
On the official Borderlands Twitter account, there will be occasional tweets listing shift codes that can be entered in the menus of Borderlands 3. These codes reward players with Golden Keys that can be used to open Golden Chests. This is similar to the locker codes that are used for NBA 2K to earn VC and packs for MyTeam.
