For years, Gearbox has continued to release new shift codes for Borderlands 2 that grant players access to special loot in the game. These shift codes sometimes expire, meaning that not all of the shift codes that worked back when Borderlands 2 originally released still work today. With the announcement of Borderlands 3 inspiring many to go back to Borderlands 2, some may be wondering which shift codes still work.
It's worth mentioning that new shift codes are released on a regular basis through the various Borderlands social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and elsewhere. Oftentimes these social media shift codes have expiration dates, and so anyone interested in using them will have to act fast.

There are likely more Borderlands 2 shift codes that work in 2019, but some are expired for one platform and not the other. The codes listed here should work for every platform.
