An alleged description of a scene from The Book of Boba Fett has surfaced online. The Book of Boba Fett will be a spin-off series that picks up after the events of The Mandalorian season 2 and follows the famous bounty hunter from the original iconic Star Wars movie trilogy.

Boba Fett is a Bounty Hunter and son of the famous Jango Fett, who was one of the best sharpshooters in the Star Wars lore. Jango's DNA was used for the clone trooper initiative in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. However, while the clone army troops had genetic mutations to increase their growth rate and alter their skills, Boba Fett was created as a clone without any modifications.

According to the alleged Book of Boba Fett scene leaks, the bounty hunter will be facing off against the rancor in his upcoming series. For those who don't know, the rancor is a building-sized alien that is carnivorous and deadly. StarWarsNews.Net reports, "Boba Fett will be encountering and quite possibly taming/controlling a rancor." The source, however, wasn't sure if this would be a fight scene or just a transportation scene where he uses the monster to get around. They do, however, say fans will see Boba Fett, "standing on the back of the Rancor’s neck, and it looks like he’s riding and controlling it as it tears through a complex/city street on what is likely Tatooine."

This scene is definitely different, to say the least. Not many have the ability to fight the rancor and survive. Luke Skywalker fought one in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, but he was only able to just barely pull through. If Boba can do this, then many fans would finally see him display the skillset that makes him the feared bounty hunter that he is. Thought to have been killed in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, Boba Fett survived and made his way throughout the galaxy forging his own path. This series looks to be following him after the events of his re-introduction during The Mandalorian, but fans shouldn't be surprised if they see some flashbacks or scenes showing what he's been up to prior to his onscreen return.

Despite being a fan favorite, Boba Fett has received poor treatment in terms of writing and displaying his skills. The character was predominantly silent during the original Star Wars movies, but he was regarded as a skilled fighter. Other than that, he wasn't shown to be anything too dangerous, especially after he was thought to have been killed by a disoriented Han Solo, who couldn't even see straight.

One of the galaxy's deadliest bounty hunters gets 'killed' by somebody who just woke up from a frozen carbon prison and couldn't use his eyes fully, which did not please fans. Here's to hoping The Book of Boba Fett series gives the character the treatment that's been long overdue. This series needs to show fans why someone like Darth Vader hired him in the first place.

The Book of Boba Fett is releasing on Disney Plus on December 29th, 2021.
