Bocchi The ROCK! follows an introverted girl named Hitori, who has dreamed of being part of a band since middle school because she believes it's a way for even a shy and introverted person like herself to shine. Despite wanting to form a band, she has a hard time making friends, and ended up practicing her guitar playing for hours a day. Now in high school, Hitori has become an incredibly skilled guitarist and uploads videos of her playing to the internet under the moniker "Guitar Hero".
Despite all this, Hitori's inability to make any friends continues to get in the way of her ambition; at least until she meets Nijika Ijichi, who recruits her to join Kessoku Band, a rock band where she is the drummer. After meeting Nijika, the once closed-off Hitori begins to come out of her shell slowly. New episodes of Bocchi The ROCK! are released on Saturdays, and the series is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The upcoming Bocchi The ROCK! tie-in album, Kessoku Band, will be released on December 28.
