A fan has combined Bob's Burgers and The Last of Us into a funny piece of artwork. The art itself takes its primary imagery from the cover of the 2013 game's 2022 remake for the PlayStation 5. While many tributes to The Last of Us can be found throughout the internet, this one is somewhat unconventional.

The original version of the game was a massive success for Naughty Dog, with the game being remastered for the PlayStation 4, and a sequel being released in the spring of 2020. While the second game was somewhat more controversial among fans, it still rated well with critics and sold over ten million copies worldwide by June of the same year. In the spring of 2021, The Last of Us Part 1 was revealed to be in development for the PlayStation 5 before being released in September 2022. The cover for that version of the game served as the inspiration for an unusual piece of art.

Various atypical tributes to the franchise can be found all over the internet. One The Last Of Us fan created a tribute with LEGOs while others make entire busts based on the game's enemies. In one of the page's many unusual pieces of art, Instagram page orderingbobsburgers crossed Bob's Burgers over with The Last of Us, with Tina taking the place of Ellie. It's not entirely clear who takes the place of Joel as the character resembles any number of Bob's Burgers supporting characters.

Bob's Burgers premiered in 2011 and follows restaurateur Bob Belcher and his family as they go on various adventures throughout their town. A feature film adaptation, The Bob's Burgers Movie, was released in May 2022 to positive reviews but box office indifference. The show's 13th season wrapped up earlier this month and, as of this writing has yet to be renewed for a 14th. Of the many Bob's Burgers characters Tina tends to rank highly which explains why she would take Ellie's place in the fan art.

With the high sales numbers of the franchise, Naughty Dog and Sony seem intent to keep the franchise going. News that a third installment of The Last of Us was in development recently leaked though the developers remain quiet about the issue. The live-action HBO series starring Narcos and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal is set to be released this month and early reviews have already been praising the series. Despite all of this, however, it is not likely that, beyond pieces of artwork like this, the franchise will ever cross over with Bob's Burgers.

The Last of Us Part 1 is out now PlayStation 5, with a PC version coming March 3, 2023.
