2020 was a year of some spectacular releases spanning budgets and developer sizes. From the realization of dream games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake to the release of long-awaited sequels like the Last of Us Part 2, players were spoilt for choice. Yet despite some big hitters, one game that stole the hearts of many was the mythological roguelite Hades from developer Supergiant Games.

Even close to a year after the game's official released out of Early Access, the critical darling Hades is still gaining new fans like Bob's Burgers director Simon Chong, who showed his love for the game in a way he only could. Chong tweeted out his adoration for Hades with an incredible mashup that has charmed fans of both series.

Chong prefaced the tweet by noting that since he finally got into Hades on the Switch, it inevitably led him to creating an amazing combination with Bob's Burgers characters taking the place of Hades characters. In the image, Chong put Louise as Zagreus, Bob as Hades, Linda and Nyx, Gene as Cerberus, Tina as Dusa, and finally Teddy as Skelly.

Of the roles of each member of the Belcher family, and the loveable Teddy, the one to get the most attention is Tina as Dusa. Reading through the comments, most are smitten with Tina taking the role of the sweetest maid in all of the Halls of Hades. While Tina is undeniably the standout, the rest of the cast is perfectly aligned with the role that would best suit them in the game. Of course this is only a small slice of both the Hades and Bob's Burgers cast leading many fans to continue assigning roles. Heading over to the Hades Subreddit, there already sits a long thread of fans casting between the two.

Hades has been an undisputed success through its impressive sales numbers as well as the slew of awards it continues to receive. Just this year, Hades won Game of the Year at the 2021 SXSW Awards which comes as just the most recent achievement for the game. While available now on PC and Switch, with the possibility of additional ports to come, Hades won't stop being a critical darling anytime soon.

While Hades is continuing to dominate the gaming world's adoration, Bob's Burgers has its own dedicated fanbase always willing to follow the Belcher family on their adventures. The biggest Bob's Burgers project is the upcoming film based on Fox's popular animated comedy. While the Bob's Burgers movie continues to be delayed, the show is still currently airing its eleventh season with no end in sight.

Hades is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch.
