Bob’s Burgers is another fantastic adult animation show that is available on several platforms. H. Jon Benjamin is an iconic voice actor who plays Bob in Bob’s Burgers, Carl in Family Guy, and Archer in Archer. The show follows the Belcher family consisting of Bob, his wife Linda, and their three children, Louise, Tina, and Gene.

The family owns a burger store, Bob’s Burgers, hence the title. And while it’s an adorable family show that beautifully portrays children going through stages of life as well as chaotic adventures that bring the characters on many adventures and troubles that they must fix. And not only is it a show about the family but of course in true adult animation fashion such as American Dad and Family Guy, there are several songs that aid the show with humor and scene-setting. And with a movie on the way, fans are excited to hear more of their amazing tunes. But out of all the songs in the show, which ones are the best?

5 Bad Stuff Happens In The Bathroom: S6E19

Nobody likes getting caught in the middle of one of the most private moments, and this episode describes just like. When the three Belcher kids are in the middle of a prank war, Bob quickly becomes a casualty. Louise goops up the bathroom toilet seat in hopes to get Tina stuck, however, Bob visits the restroom before Tina, causing him to get stuck. And to make matters worse, a journalist is coming for an interview of their restaurant in a few hours.

Not only is Bob singing about being stuck on the toilet, but Louise is duetting him from the other side of the bathroom where she contemplates her actions. Bob is focused on getting out of the bathroom for his interview, and Louise is dealing with internalized guilt by saying “I did absolutely nothing wrong, I am not to blame, it’s not my fault”. They both sing about the optimism of everything blowing over.

4 Electric Love: S3E16

Who doesn’t love watching a musical re-imagine-actenment? Especially about Thomas Edison and an elephant named Tospy. In this episode, Tina is forced to change up her science project, which is normally a paper mache volcano, and must do a performance on Thomas Edison. During her research, Tina finds out about Topsy, the elephant Edison electrocuted. To get revenge for doing a project she doesn’t want to do, Tina plans out a performance on the darker side of Edison, and thus created this song.

With the help of their aunt Gayle and Mr. Fischoeder, who are hidden behind stage since adults aren’t supposed to help the kids, the song that was supposed to shine light on how horrid Edison treated this poor creature, turned to a love song.

3 Happy Crappy Place: S5E10

One man’s passion is another man’s hell, at least that’s what this song describes. Even though Bob is taking a love for gardening, his family feels nothing but hate for the activity. No one enjoys a family divided, especially when it’s over a hobby. But when Bob loses his ‘zest’ when Louise breaks one of his tools as well as not being accepted to The Community Garden, Bob takes it seriously and focuses on his garden passion.

While Bob tends to his plants, his family is stuck with dealing with two of the worst people since they’re tending to the restaurant. Linda tries to help Bob earn a place in The Community Garden, however the admissions are controlled by Cynthia, whose son is Logan, Louise’s worst enemy. Because of this, the family is dealing with their own frustrations which leads to this amazing song.

2 This Is Working: S3E14

Money is a common problem in the Belcher family with checks bouncing. But when it becomes more common, Linda decides to start working at a grocery store to try and help the problem. But when Linda is given the opportunity at a full-time position for a shift manager job, Bob has to learn to deal with her newfound career while taking care of his restaurant and the kids.

Linda is enjoying her time at her new job, wrangling carts and scanning items. But while she’s enjoying herself, Bob is trying to manage the tasks on his own, which proves to be more challenging than he originally thought. Not only does this song show the hardships that Bob is going through to manage the restaurant by himself, but the difficulty of taking care of the kids on his own without the help of his wife, Linda.

1 Kill The Turkey: S3E5

Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday for many, but Linda seems to enjoy it more than most. While the episode itself doesn’t seem to focus completely on the fact that it’s Thanksgivings Day, this song truly brings out meaning. Mr. Fischoeder bribes Bob to lend off Linda and the kids to act as his family to try and entice an old love who seems to only be attracted to married men. Because of this, Bob is pretending to be the caterer and is tasked to make the Thanksgiving meal. In usual Bob’s Burgers fashion, this plan goes incredibly wrong because of the chaos the family ensues.

Thankfully, viewers get an amazing minute-long tune of Linda growing crazy over the idea of Thanksgiving dinner, not forgetting a single bit of what the holiday means. She raves over the meal itself while singing about how thankful she is for those around her and the love they have.
