Despite being released back in 2015, Bloodborne is a game that many feel would benefit from an upgrade. Now, one Bloodborne fan has taken their hopes for this new version of the game to an AEW event, showing off a sign that asks for 60 FPS.

This is far from the first video game-related sign to be featured at an AEW event, as fans have made many interesting comments about gaming through this method. Some of these signs have featured controversial messages, like one AEW fan arguing that Smash Bros. is not a fighting game and another saying that Dragon Warriors' monsters are better than Pokemon. One sign was even dedicated to defending the convoluted plot of the Kingdom Hearts series

However, the most common form of video game signs at wrestling events is undoubtedly those that make a request. From the localization of Mother 3 to the return of the Killer Instinct franchise, gamers have been making their voices heard through these signs. With the signs often appearing on TV, and going viral on the internet once spotted, there is always a chance that the extra attention could be just what is needed to make something happen. If one fan gets their way, their sign discussing Bloodborne could help ensure that a 60 FPS version finally comes.

While there have been numerous rumors about a Bloodborne remaster or remake, nothing has come of them, with fans still sharing their hopes for a new version of the FromSoftware game. While Bloodborne is widely regarded as one of From’s many masterpieces, it has one significant flaw due to its release as a PS4 exclusive that dropped early into the generation: it is only 30 FPS. With how fast-paced the gameplay is, and gamers becoming used to 60 FPS, it can be difficult to go back to Bloodborne.

With this in mind, it makes sense for this sign to be made, and Twitter user @jay_puft did a good job of pointing it out. With several event attendees sharing closer looks at the sign and its creator, many clearly got a kick out of the request. As for whether a new version of Bloodborne could happen, it does not seem out of the realm of possibility. While it is true that the game is only seven years old, The Last of Us is only nine years old and is getting remade for PS5. Sony is making an effort to bring more PlayStation exclusives to PC, too, and Bloodborne would be a great fit for this initiative.

While not quite as extreme as purchasing a billboard to ask for a remaster of Call of Duty Zombies’ Die Rise, signs like this are very entertaining. Hopefully, this Bloodborne fan gets their wish and a smoother version of the game is released one day.

Bloodborne is available now on PS4.
