As Diablo Immortal is about to celebrate its first anniversary, Blizzard announced an upcoming event for its mobile game ahead of the launch of Diablo 4. This crossover between Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4 will provide players with new activities to do in this free-to-play mobile game and ramp up the hype before Diablo 4’s official release on June 6.

After a controversial launch in June 2022 due to Diablo Immortal's many microtransactions, Blizzard’s game still managed to be a commercial success surpassing millions of dollars in global sales. One year later, Diablo Immortal continues to gather a faithful player base who enjoy the various activities included in this action RPG, from the PvE dungeons to PvP battles. Blizzard regularly adds new features and activities for Diablo Immortal players, such as the recently added fishing minigame and the new game mode introduced with the release of Diablo Immortal Season 13.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Diablo 4, Blizzard announced a new themed event for Diablo Immortal. The Merciless Monstrosity event, Children of Lilith Battle Pass, and Hatred’s Heritage Phantom Market will be available in Diablo Immortal as part of a crossover with Diablo 4, letting players experience the impact of the creation of Sanctuary by Inarius and Lilith, the two main protagonists of Diablo 4. This collaboration will also give players the opportunity to get new Lilith-themed cosmetics. The Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4 crossover will begin in early June, with an exact release date to be announced shortly.

On top of this Diablo 4 crossover, Diablo Immortal players will soon receive an additional wave of content to celebrate the game’s first anniversary. Diablo Immortal will soon release a new zone and a class, encouraging players to keep on playing this free-to-play game available on PC and mobiles. The new zone is a mystical island called the Ancients’ Cradle and inhabited by a reclusive tribe. Blizzard hasn’t revealed many details about the new class joining Diablo Immortal, simply describing it as “monstrous” and stating that it favors a mid-range playstyle using a classic weapon type.

The themed cosmetics and in-game event joining Diablo Immortal aim to ramp up the hype before the release of Diablo 4, scheduled to release on June 6. This new entry in Blizzard’s popular action RPG series brings an open world filled with procedurally generated dungeons and PvP activities, with Diablo 4’s lore explaining the creation of Sanctuary as a powerful enemy threatens the peace of this settlement.

Diablo Immortal is now available to play on Mobile and PC.
