Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will start its Blackout beta test for PS4 players on September 10, and when it goes live, fans will surely learn a lot more about its map, mechanics, and more. In the meantime, some details about Blackout have apparently leaked online, potentially revealing more about the mode, including how it will incorporate zombies.

This rumor originates from YouTube channel The Wew Lads, and while fans should take the information with a massive grain of salt, it may be some of our first concrete details about what the Blackout battle royale mode will have to offer. If the leaked information is correct, the Blackout battle royale map will feature some classic Zombies maps incorporated into it, including Verruckt, and it is in these areas where players will actually encounter members of the undead.

No other Zombies maps were named as possibilities (and the leak says zombies may not appear in the beta), but two regular multiplayer maps were named as part of the Blackout battle royale map. Again, fans should take this information with a grain of salt, but apparently the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout map will feature the maps Array and Cracked from the first Black Ops.

Other little details about the Blackout battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 are also mentioned in the leak. For example, the leak claims that the game mode will support up to 100 players, as opposed to the 60 player count that has been rumored. It also states that players will be jumping onto the map like they do in other battle royale games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite, using a wingsuit and a parachute.

Again, it's important to stress that none of this information has been verified and should be treated as just a rumor for now. However, it wouldn't be all that surprising if there is at least some truth to this leak. After all, Treyarch itself has teased that zombies will be in Blackout, and some of the other leaked features are fairly standard for games in the genre.

Luckily, fans shouldn't have to wait too much longer to learn more about Blackout. The beta will kick off for PS4 users on September 10, and it's probable that Activision will provide more details before then.
