When the rumors began circulating that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was going to be the next title, several gamers may have been excited but cautious. Now that the game has been officially announced, the same gamers are perhaps on edge, waiting to dissect every little detail about the new franchise installment. From zombies to its first-person shooter, Treyarch has continuously delivered for its fan, so expectations are high for the developer.

Fans of the Black Ops series do not have to wait for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to begin celebrating, however. Treyarch Studios has revealed a special gift for gamers who are still playing Black Ops 3 which released in 2015 and has received continuous support ever since. Considering it was one of most successful titles for the current generation of consoles, it’s not too surprising that updates still occur to this day.

This special gift will only be available through March 12, and players who log into Black Ops 3 by that time will receive a commemorative gift in celebration of the announcement for Black Ops 4. It is a special calling card with the Black Ops 4 logo, and since it’s only available for a limited time, it may be a need for many fans. Check it out below:

This calling card, however, isn’t the only thing now available for longstanding fans of Black Ops 3. The most recent update for the game added a new “Infected” mode, as well as a snow-covered version of the Redwood map. Combined with Black Ops 4 memorabilia revealed by GameStop’s merchandise listing, it is looking like a good year to be a Black Ops fan.

As the calling card event nears its end, gamers who have yet to log in may desire to do so, as there’s no indication whether this unique calling card will be made available again at a later date. With or without the calling card, the latest rumors also indicate that Black Ops 4 is set in the near future. How this will affect the story that began with Alex Mason and Viktor Reznov remains to be seen, but as indicated by the recent teaser, gamers should “forget what [they] know.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released on October 12 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
