Black Friday is still a week away, but it is always better to be prepared and know when sales are about to happen. Early this month, some retailers revealed the many deals that will be available this shopping season, including deals on consoles, video games, and gaming accessories.

Like previous years, Black Friday is expected to be chaotic, with many gamers clamoring for the best gaming deals. However, given that stocks of games and consoles will be limited, shoppers should start preparing themselves now and taking note of all the major sales and when they will be taking place. This article will be updated as more and more sales are revealed.

Amazon (Nov 25-26)

Currently, Amazon is running its Early Black Friday deals for 2021, and players can find some great deals on that promotion. However, most of Amazon's gaming deals aren't expected to go live until next week, so players should save their money until the main Black Friday sale. According to Amazon, its Black Friday promo officially starts on November 25 and will run through November 26, so players should keep an eye out, given that stocks of games and consoles are expected to be limited.

Earlier this month, Amazon held its usual promo Buy 3 for the Price of 2, which included tons of triple-A titles like the recently released Call of Duty: Vanguard. For the uninitiated, this promo allows players to purchase 2 games, which will get them 1 for free. Usually, Amazon considers the two most expensive games and offers the cheaper one at no additional cost. Unfortunately, this deal has already ended, so players who weren't able to take advantage of it should mark November 25th on their calendar.

Best Buy (Nov 19)

Best Buy Kicking Off Early Black Friday Deals This Week

Like Amazon, Best Buy is currently holding an Early Black Friday Sale, which focuses more on video game tech and accessories. Players looking to buy a new pair of headphones, controllers, and other gaming devices would find many great deals. However, it is expected that even better deals will be offered on Best Buy's main Black Friday sale, which is scheduled a week early on November 19. The retailer hasn't announced an end date for its sales event, but it is expected to last until Cyber Monday or while supplies last.

Target (Nov 21-27)

Shoppers would be happy to know that Target has already revealed its Black Friday ad, which includes many video game deals. Target's Black Friday Sale starts on November 21 and will run through November 27, giving players plenty of time to shop. According to Target's Black Friday ad, it will offer games such as NBA 2K22, Far Cry 6, Death Stranding, Demon Souls, and more for $39.99 each. Meanwhile, games like Resident Evil Village, It Takes Two, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be offered at $29.99 each. Several first-party Nintendo games will also be offered for $39.99 each, but those looking for better Switch deals will be better off at Walmart.

Walmart (Nov 22 online, 26 in-stores)

According to Walmart's Black Friday ad, it will offer Switch games such as Splatoon 2, Breath of the Wild, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and Paper Mario: The Origami King at $35, which is slightly cheaper than Target's $39.99. However, apart from Switch games, Walmart will also offer deals on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X games in three price categories: $14, $20, and $25. In addition, the retailer also teased that it will offer discounts on brand new games such as Call of Duty: Vanguard at a price that is yet to be disclosed.

The most exciting part of Walmart's Black Friday ad is the confirmation that there will be limited stocks of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, which will be offered online only on November 22. However, the best chance to get a next-gen console at Walmart is to sign up for Walmart Plus, which grants subscribers early access allowing them to shop 4 hours before everyone else. Walmart's Black Friday Sale is scheduled for November 22 online and November 26 in-stores.

PlayStation Store (Nov 19-29)

Yesterday, Sony revealed its Black Friday offerings for the PS4 and PS5 on the PlayStation Store. Apart from the over 400 games available at discounts of up to 60% off, Sony also revealed that its Black Friday Sale is live now and will run through November 29, 2021, giving players plenty of time to browse through all the irresistible deals.

Unlike PlayStation Store promotions in the past, the Black Friday Sale consists of several triple-A games on both the PS4 and PS5, which is perfect for those lucky players who were already able to snag a next-gen console. Some of the games included in the sale are FIFA 22 (PS5, $48.99), Back 4 Blood (PS4 & PS5, $40.19), Deathloop (PS5, $29.99), Resident Evil Village (PS4 & PS5, $29.99), It Takes Two (PS4 & PS5, $24.79), and many more.

However, for players looking to purchase physical PS4 and PS5 games, Walmart is actually offering better prices than the PlayStation Store on some games. For example, the PlayStation Store is offering Resident Evil Village for $29.99, while Walmart will offer the game at $20.
