The biggest detail was that it's reportedly going to be an open-world BioShock game set in Borealis, a city located in the Antarctic, and that it will be titled BioShock Isolation. The information is based on leaks, so players should take them with a grain of salt. Other details, like the characters and whether it's going to be set in the same universe as the previous games, are still under wraps.What fans do know for sure is that Liz Albl, who was a writer for video game titles such as Far Cry 5, Ghost of Tsushima, and Watch Dogs: Legion, has signed on to be Cloud Chamber's Narrative Lead for BioShock. She made the announcement on Twitter, saying, "The dream is real!" She will be in charge of developing BioShock 4's world and overall story.
Albl's friends, as well as BioShock fans, congratulated her on the achievement. People who saw her account for the first time also expressed their excitement upon seeing the games she worked on in the past, noting that she was a great choice to bring BioShock 4's story to life. Albl's tweet was also how some gamers found out that a new BioShock game was in the works.
The BioShock franchise has been well-loved by many FPS players because of its immersive atmosphere, unique gunplay thanks to the addition of plasmids, and intriguing narrative.
