Biomutant features an expansive crafting system, among other things, which makes creating a brand-new, unique weapon fun. Most of the weapons players will end up using over the course of their adventures in Biomutant will be crafted, with a few notable exceptions coming in the form of Ultimate weapons, including those found in multiple Vaults or unlocked by defeating each Tribe. These weapons can usually be modified with additional pieces to make them stronger, or some of them can even be dismantled to obtain key pieces in order to craft those weapons again packing an extra punch.
This tier list offers a general overview of the least and most prominent Biomutant weapons, which should help players choose which ones to go after first. It's worth noting that the Tribe weapons cannot be obtained until players either defeats that specific Tribe or decides to end the Tribe war early, which will make all of these weapons available in the corresponding Tribe's main fort.
D-Tier Biomutant Ultimate And Tribe Weapons
Netra Tribe Grabbler - This weapon deals subpar damage and is ranged, but pulls players close to their target. Its only use is in melee builds, but even then there are better options.
Lotus Shuriken - The problem with this weapon is that it comes later in the game, and has pretty low damage. The attack rate is not enough to make this weapon good.
Pichu Tribe Nanchuk - While not the worst weapon out there, the lack of additional stats on them makes the Nanchuk negligible, especially compared to other Ultimate weapons.
C-Tier Biomutant Ultimate And Tribe Weapons
Yrkum Pikeaxe - This one-handed slash weapon has very low attack speed and no extra perk, apart from high critical chance. Crafted melee weapons will often be much better than this.
Carrothandle Infected Carrot - While this weapon looks cool and fun, it doesn't offer much. It deals some Biohazard damage, though, which can be nice to have.
B-Tier Biomutant Ultimate And Tribe Weapons
Myriad Boomerang - This weapon is especially good early on, and it is acquired relatively quickly. It also has good Wung-Fu moves.
Hydrozapper Ozarhypro - This automatic rifle has good stats, making it great until players find better weapons. Radioactive damage is solid to have, and the Dynamo perk helps against tougher foes. It's the best unique ranged weapon in Biomutant for mid-game.
Scatterskrek Lukspewbor - This shotgun is cool and it makes for a great weapon early in the game, but it lacks the extra punch to make it better in the long-term.
A-Tier Biomutant Ultimate And Tribe Weapons
Contagion Flupskruckis - This weapon is awesome overall, and it can be used as a standalone gun or while dual-wielding. It can easily clear most content in the game.
Lump Pinhandle Rolling Pin - Fire is a great source of elemental damage, and this weapon packs good stats combined with high Heat damage, but doesn't come with a perk.
Jagni Tribe Staff - The Jagni Staff is among the best weapons in the entire game thanks to its Wung-Fu combos, but it also comes with utility. Jumping and pressing the melee button will swirl the staff in the air, allowing the character to briefly glide.
Blaze Gloves - There aren't many options for unarmed attacks, meaning the Blaze Gloves are the best weapon in Biomutant for such builds, especially given they deal decent damage.
Ankati Bow - Shooting arrows is especially fun with the Ankati Bow, which is likely the best Tribe weapon in the game.
S-Tier Biomutant Ultimate And Tribe Weapons
Knok Umph - This one-handed weapon combines extraordinary damage with attack speed, Heat damage, and a perk that heals based on the damage dealt to killed enemies.
Pri Murgel Sword - Arguably one of the most renowned weapons in Biomutant, the Pri Murgel Sword is yet another Heat weapon that outperforms most others in the game.
Srik Gongmace - Crush weapons can be deadly, especially with Mercury Drop, and this weapon deals tons of damage while also freezing enemies and knocking down enemies.
Sparkatron Hypicskromp - Most players refer to Sparkatron as Biomutant's best weapon overall, and for good reason. This rifle potentially makes Dead-Eye have the highest DPS in the game.
