There are still a lot of questions surrounding Sony's upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The biggest question pertains to which characters will occupy the game's final roster, and the developers at SuperBot Entertainment eased the tension mildly by confirming two characters that'll be joining the frantic fisticuffs. The first character confirmed was none other that Uncharted's Nathan Drake — a character that many assumed would be included since the very beginning. The second character however, came as a bit of a shock... a Bioshock.

Big Daddy has managed to escape Rapture for a special guest appearance in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and this powerhouse will undoubtedly be able to hold his own (and then some) against the likes of Sony's recognizable mascots. To celebrate the reveals, a brand new trailer was released showing the All-Stars in action.

Evidence of Drake's inclusion surfaced last month after the voice actor for InFamous' Cole MacGrath — another unconfirmed character — tweeted about how great it was to work with the likes of Nolan North (the voice actor for Nathan Drake) on the project. While his inclusion was widely expected, it's still great to get the official confirmation and it'll be great to unleash the various weapons that the Uncharted protagonist has at his disposal.

The two will undoubtedly bring some variety to the already bizarre list of characters participating in the fray. Big Daddy's appearance also means that any third party character could be included in Battle RoyaleBioshock's iconic, tragically misunderstood beast seems somewhat out of place, and that's because the character just doesn't have strong ties or notoriety with the PlayStation brand. That's not to say that the mascot won't be a solid addition, but characters like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon may be left out as a result.
