Sony announces that the PS4 re-release of Beyond: Two Souls will be available November 24, while the re-release of Heavy Rain will be available in March 2016.

Although many PS4 owners are hyped for Quantic Dream's upcoming game, Detroit: Become Human, there are plenty of people who are still giddy about the French developer's last two releases, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain. Often described as "interactive dramas," the games were critically acclaimed and it's why so many people were excited when Sony confirmed that they'd be re-released on PS4 at some point in the future. And now, release dates have been announced for both games.

First up on the release slate is supernatural thriller Beyond: Two Souls which will be available in North America as a digital download from November 24 (it will cost $29.99). The game stars Ellen Page as a young woman named Jodie Holmes who has a physic connection to an invisible entity. Throughout Two Souls, players will follow Jodie as she goes through her life (attempts to) get a handle on that connection but there are also high stakes as the military tries to enlist her, and then there's Dr. Dawkins (played by Willem Dafoe), a complex character who is "intertwined" with Jodie's journey.

Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like the PS4 re-release of Beyond: Two Souls is the 'director's cut' with deleted scenes as was once rumored, and Sony hasn't confirmed that it will have trophy support as a previous leak suggested, either. However, the game does offer "enhanced" 1080p graphics "including motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows," it uses the DualShock 4 speaker when controlling the Entity and decisions are "highlighted" at the end of each scene and compared with other players'.

Additionally, Beyond: Two Souls can be replayed in chronological order once it's been completed, there's increased difficulty during "certain" fight scenes ("combined with improved controls for action sequences") and the Enhanced Experiments DLC is also included.

The PS4 version of Heavy Rain, on the other hand, will be released in North America as a digital download on March 1. Unfortunately, it's unclear what this re-release will offer players (e. better graphics or access to the Heavy Rain Chronicles DLC) and North American pricing hasn't been confirmed either, but Sony does say that "those who purchase Beyond: Two Souls digitally will be entitled to download Heavy Rain on PS4 when it releases at a discount".

And as for a physical release of the two games, that's uncertain as well. The European PlayStation Blog states that a physical package called The Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls Collection will be available from March 2 in Europe (March 4 in the UK) but it makes no mention of a release in North America. With four months to go, there's still time for Sony to confirm that the collection will hit US shores but for now, only downloads have been announced.
