Bethesda is adding more games to Xbox Game Pass. During today's Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase for E3 2021, the announcement was made that 10 more games would be added to Game Pass. Earlier this year, Bethesda brought 20 games to Xbox Game Pass. Now that total will be 30 after today's additions.

The dominoes are continuing to fall following Microsoft's bombshell acquisition of ZeniMax last year; the parent company of Bethesda. Today's E3 showcase is a prime example of fans getting to see Xbox and Bethesda work hand in hand, but behind the scenes, the two have been working together for some time. There have been some big announcements today alone both for Xbox and for Bethesda, one of which is the addition of 10 more Bethesda games to Xbox Game Pass.

The new game additions include Arx Fatalis, Dishonored, Doom, The Evil Within 2, Rage, Wolfenstein 2, Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, and Fallout 3. These fresh titles are exciting in more ways than one. The Bethesda games help add to the number of Game Pass titles, but also the verity.

Arx Fatalis is the first Arkane Studios developed title, while Dishonored is a more recent and beloved action-adventure stealth game. Arkane is also making a brand new exclusive Xbox game that was announced today; Redfall. Redfall is a vampire shooter that will be exclusive to Xbox, just like Starfield. The announcement was this year's "one more thing" that closed out the Xbox and Bethesda showcase.

Meanwhile, Tango Gameworks is the team behind the survival horror Evil Within 2, and id Software is the development team behind the vehicular combat action first-person shooter Rage. Wolfenstein 2 was developed by MachineGames. And the Fallout series is now developed by Bethesda proper. The entire showcase started off with a Starfield trailer and release date announcement, proving that Xbox has a lot of faith in both the game and in Bethesda.

Bethesda had plenty of other announcements as well. The first-ever Xbox and Bethesda E3 appears to be quite the event. Whether it be brand new announcements or details on upcoming exciting games like Starfield or Redfall, or the countless games of the past, the acquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft will continue to shake up the industry for years to come. The marriage will likely yield many exciting projects both in the near and distant future. Xbox has talked about wanting to preserve the history of gaming, and bringing classic games to Game Pass is one way to do so.
