Not long from now, Bethesda will be hosting its forthcoming E3 2018 showcase, with the publisher and developer prepared to present a slew of its latest wares to droves of gaming fans at this year's industry trade event. Naturally, this has led to plenty of postulation as to what the company will cover during its press conference, with Vice President Pete Hines now teasing that there will be so much in store that it could become the studio's longest showing at E3 yet.

This much was revealed by Hines through his official Twitter account, as the Bethesda VP has promised fans that the company has "a lot to show" when E3 2018 rolls around. Unfortunately, though, he didn't offer much in the way of hints regarding what will be on display this year. The closest thing fans get when it comes to clues is the attached image depicting paper cutouts of several iconic character models from the studio's stable of games, which was initially revealed when it confirmed the date and time of the showcase.

So far, Bethesda has been incredibly tight-lipped in relation to the projects that it plans to exhibit during E3 2018, with the closest that it has come to describing the surprises in store being Hines' promise of a "big mix" of games. Of course, this hasn't stopped fans from theorizing what could be on the way, as most gamers are wont to do during the weeks leading up to what many describe as the "Super Bowl of Video Games".

One of the biggest bits of hearsay as to what Bethesda will unveil during its E3 2018 press conference involves the studio finally revealing its long-rumored sci-fi RPG known as Starfield. As of now, the public’s only concrete knowledge of the game is entirely based around trademark filings from the company and speculation about its existence. So, should the title actually make an appearance at this year's E3, it's safe to say fans will at the very least be intrigued.

Of course, the project that most, if not all Bethesda acolytes want to see at E3 2018 is The Elder Scrolls 6, but there's really no telling whether or not any assets will make the cut for the showcase. As it so happens, Bethesda director Todd Howard has said that not even his own family members are privy to details about the title, so we will simply have to wait and find out if the studio decides to give the RPG room to strut its stuff at this year's E3. However, considering how Pete Hines has confirmed that Bethesda has two major games planned for release before the next Elder Scrolls, fans might be waiting until E3 2019 to see the sequel in action.

Bethesda's E3 2018 showcase is scheduled for June 10, 2018.
