Bethesda has released a piece of promotional art for its upcoming E3 2017 Showcase event that appears to be teasing at least two major announcements. The art shows a theme park named Bethesdaland and features several rides, each designed around a current Bethesda franchise. Two rides, however, remain nameless and are "Under Construction" or "Coming Soon." It's clear that Bethesda's E3 keynote event will be packed with announcements and reveals, for games both secret and known.

First, let's clarify what franchises, or more specifically what games, Bethesda is highlighting in the already revealed theme park rides. Doom and Dishonored 2 are both currently available games, and Prey launches within the next week and each have their own rides in Bethesdaland. It's likely that these games are highlighted because they will be featured during E3 in one way or another. DLC and or expansion content seems the most likely topic, but worst case scenario, Bethesda just talks about how proud the publisher is of each game's success.

Both Quake Champions and The Elder Scrolls Online's Morrowind expansion are also forthcoming. Technically Morrowind will arrive just prior to E3, but the Bethesdaland art clearly shows the setting of Morrowind and doesn't seem to imply any of Bethesda's other Elder Scrolls properties. Both Quake Champions and The Elder Scrolls Online will likely have their current status discussed during E3 with perhaps some details on each product's future plans. An open beta announcement for Quake Champions would be particularly opportune.

As for the as yet unrevealed Bethesdaland attractions, the speculation gets much more interesting. So far, almost all speculation is revolving around several projects that are known to be in development. For instance, Wolfenstein: The New Order 2, AKA Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, was teased during last year's Bethesda E3 showcase. Also, The Evil Within 2 was seemingly leaked via a job listing.

At the very least, both MachineGames and Tango Gameworks are working on titles for Bethesda. They're likely the sequels we're expecting, but they could be surprises. Both could be officially announced during this year's E3 Showcase.

Two other projects are also known to be in the works at Bethesda Game Studios. Both are of a similar size to Fallout 4 and are in development alongside The Elder Scrolls 6, but should both launch prior to the fantasy RPG sequel. That said, both have been described as long-term projects and are likely far away from completion. Expect a lot of hope and hype to swirl around these Bethesda games prior to E3, though. Anything from Bethesda Game Studios is going to be highly anticipated.

Whether Bethesdaland's two secret rides be Wolfenstein 2, The Evil Within 2, Bethesda Game Studios' secret RPG projects, unknown titles from mysterious studios, or something else like The Elder Scrolls: Legends or maybe a Fallout Shelter sequel, Bethesda will make their E3 Showcase exciting. They always do. And even if the two surprises turn out disappointing, who'd be disappointed by more content Dishonored 2, Prey, and Doom at the very least?
