Although the video game publisher and developer Bethesda has already revealed its E3 2017 press conference date, the company has decided to provide fans with a reminder of the forthcoming event by posting an official "Save the Date" memo on its Twitter account, with the message promising a "wild ride" during its "Bethesdaland" showcase. In addition to giving its press conference a nickname, the publisher and developer also tells its fans to "stay tuned" in order to find out how they can get a ticket to attend the showcase in person.

As seen in the tweet below, Bethesda's E3 2017 "Save the Date" card reiterates the company's showcase starting at 6:30PM on Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. Interestingly enough, though, the publisher and developer avoided the inclusion of artwork alluding to any of its intellectual properties as it has done in the past, so the exclusion of any references to its games helps generate even more speculation as to what surprises will be in store for fans come this summer.

Of course, Bethesda has confirmed at least one of its titles to be at E3 2017, with the publisher and developer's vice president of marketing and PR, Pete Hines, saying that Fallout 4 VR will be shown off during the press conference. Since it's his job to hype his company's wares, Hines has said that the virtual reality version of the post-apocalyptic RPG will be "the most incredible thing you’ve ever seen in your life," but such a statement could definitely be overkill. Nevertheless, it's best to keep an open mind about its potentiality to be an absolute showstopper.

Beyond the unveiling of Fallout 4 VR in action, though, Bethesda hasn't said much else about what other titles will be on display, but fans of the company can definitely make a few solid educated guesses. For instance, since Bethesda teased the existence of a sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order with Wolfenstein: The New Colossus during E3 2016, it's quite possible that a gameplay revealed could be included during this year's expo.

Other possible games to be included during Bethesda's E3 2017 festivities could be post-launch content for Prey, as the game has a release date set for May of this year, or a fresh expansion for its MMO The Elder Scrolls Online. Speaking of the fantasy franchise, there is a low possibility for The Elder Scrolls 6 to be revealed at the event, as the company's director and executive producer Todd Howard has said it's not a "big active project" at the moment. Nevertheless, there's always the chance for Bethesda to throw a curveball and tease a little piece of the sixth entry in the fantasy-RPG series, in addition to a completely new IP, so we will have to wait and see what the company has in store for its E3 celebration.
