Wit Studio is one of the most well-known anime studios around, in no small part due to their brilliant work on Attack on Titan. Their tremendous work on the series over the course of three seasons has been iconic, and MAPPA owes it all to them for setting a great standard that they have thankfully lived up to.

There are several fans who are still sad about Wit Studio handing the reins of the game's animation over to another studio. After all, their animation work was simply incredible and one of the biggest reasons why Attack on Titan is revered by so many as an absolute masterpiece. Thankfully, there are several other anime made by the studio that showcase their brilliance too.

10 The Ancient Magus' Bride

The Ancient Magus' Bride anime

The Ancient Magus' Bride is easily one of the more unique shows on this list, featuring one of the most unique premises where an orphaned schoolgirl ends up living with a humanoid creature. While Elias might look rather horrifying at first glance, he's actually a pretty great character.

In fact, he's easily the best part of the show due to his unique personality. It helps that his dynamic with Chise is also pretty engaging in its own right.

9 Vinland Saga

Vinland Saga is a manga whose anime adaptation was long overdue. In fact, many people simply assumed that this series would remain exclusive to the medium of manga for the longest time.

Thankfully, Wit Studio came to the rescue with a fitting adaptation for this amazing seinen manga. The journey of Thorfinn is a blast to explore, and it's still pretty amazing that only the prologue of the series has been adapted till now.

8 Great Pretender

Netflix has its fair share of exclusive anime adaptations that are a joy to follow. This includes the Great Pretender, which is a hilarious show that takes a look at several criminal cases with a light-hearted approach.

Great Pretender is a show unlike most of what people might have seen in Wit Studio's work. It's a great change of pace that is beautifully animated to boot, and the fact that it's an original anime story makes the show even better.

7 Spy X Family

6 Seraph Of The End

The haunting premise of Seraph of the End sees the entirety of humanity — barring anyone under the age of 13 — losing their lives to a mysterious man-made virus. If that wasn't bad enough as is, vampires have also risen and taken over the world!

It's a mind-boggling premise that's executed pretty brilliantly. Seraph of the End might not break any new ground but is still an interesting watch nevertheless.

5 After The Rain

It seems that Wit Studio has a penchant for animation stories that feature copious amounts of romance. Most people would be surprised by this, given the rather no-nonsense approach of Attack on Titan.

However, After the Rain will dispel all these notions and show the depth of Wit Studio's talent. It's a great show that only lasts for twelve episodes, making for a pretty wholesome binge indeed.

4 Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song

The idea of technology rising up against its creators is a concept that has been executed time and time again. However, for what it's worth, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is a pretty charming take on this concept.

The story follows an AI robot named Diva, whose task is to make people happy with her songs... only for a man from the future to come into her life. He states that humanity is being overthrown by AI overlords and they need Diva's help to prevent this from happening.

3 Ranking Of Kings

Sometimes, all fans need is a feel-good anime that doesn't need to be the most heavy-handed show around. Ranking of Kings accomplishes this to a T.

The show follows a deaf prince named Bojji who is looked down upon by the people around him due to his naive nature. However, after meeting a character called Kage who's a survivor from a wiped-out clan, they both bond, and Bojji grows into his own as a capable and reliable human being.

2 The Rolling Girls

The Rolling Girls

The idea of Japan splitting up into different regions that have champions of their own is a pretty unique concept indeed. The Rolling Girls makes the most of this premise and gives players a show that is a joy to witness.

There are several mysteries in the series that are resolved satisfactorily over the course of its 12-episode run. It's a short and sweet anime series that any fan of action anime with a healthy dose of sci-fi will have a great time with.

1 Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress

The concept of zombies has been shown with a different spin over and over again. So, it's understandable if the concept of undead enemies might sound a bit unappealing to some viewers.

However, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is appealing enough for fans to get into this series with ease. The idea of a half-human half-undead protagonist who saves the day might not be the most original concept around, but it's still fun to see unfold regardless.
