7 Selfish
The Selfish trait is an internal trait, with which a character values their self-interest over that of family and sect members. They have a ruthless and cruel nature, showing no mercy to their enemies. This trait reduces the chances of forming a positive relationship with others in the game.
Characters with this trait do not gain favor from NPCs, and may even get killed or arrested by them. It affects their ability to achieve their goal of immortality, as their path is made incredibly difficult by their selfish nature.
6 Evil
This trait is exactly as advertised. Characters with the Evil trait are egoistic, self-centered, and just plain cruel. They show no regard for the feelings or interests of their sect members or NPCs, and they possess ruthless tendencies.
They are likely to kill those that stand in their way or oppose their path to immortality. They are also power hungry, which increases the likelihood of them using their manuals and fruits to achieve any ability that will help them in their journey.
5 Protective
This trait endears the character to their children and their apprentices, which helps them to curry favor from the NPCs. The Protective trait ensures that a player’s character will do everything in their power to protect their children and apprentices.
This trait also helps players create and maintain positive relationships with the NPCs. Like all positive traits, it makes it easy for NPCs to like the character. With this trait, the character becomes protective of even their sect members.
4 Loyal To Friends
A character with this trait will have unwavering loyalty to their friends and their sect members. They often support the interests of their friends and try to help them achieve their goals. These characters are honest and straightforward in interactions with their sect members and friends.
This trait also helps characters easily gain favor from NPCs. As a positive trait, it makes characters likable and helps them create and maintain positive relationships.
3 Family Oriented
This trait extols family values above everything else. Any character with this trait will put the interest and affairs of the family first. They are loyal and selfless when it comes to dealing with their families. They are also honest and loyal to their sect members.
Family Oriented characters are loved by their family, and they can easily gain favor from NPCs. These characters are very likable and can create positive relationships with sect members and other NPCs.
2 Vengeful
Vengeful is the ideal trait for those who believe in instant karma whether. Characters with this trait will seek retribution for the smallest grievance. They hate their enemies, killing them when possible. Their characters are self-serving, putting their interests above the interests of everyone else.
This negative trait ensures that characters are not well-liked by either NPCs or members of their sect. This ultimately makes it near impossible to form and maintain relationships. It also increases the chances of players getting killed by the NPCs.
1 Selfless
This is the ideal trait for the archetypal hero. Characters with this trait are willing to do anything for their friends, family, and sect members. They care deeply about others, putting the interests of the many above their own interests.
This trait makes it easy for a character to gain favor and maintain good relationships with most NPCs in Tale of Immortal. The Selfless trait helps characters achieve their ambitions while being helped by those around them, including the NPCs.
