Just like real people, characters in The Sims 4 have their own set of wants, desires, and aspirations. Players can, of course, indulge their Sims' aspirations by fulfilling their Whims. Doing so regularly accumulates Satisfaction points, which can then be spent on various bonuses in the Rewards Store.

The rewards present in the store vary greatly in their scope. Some are cheap, single-use items that improve a character's mood. Others are major, full-blown traits that offer incredibly useful benefits. Knowing which ones to prioritize can depend on an individual Sim's lifestyle. This collection of rewards, however, should be of use to any character in The Sims 4.

Updated July 26, 2022 by Mark Hospodar: The Sims 4 doesn't appear to be slowing down. With concrete details concerning The Sims 5 still elusive, players will have to remain content with The Sims 4 for the time being. Luckily, it's difficult to run out of things to do in the fourth entry of the beloved franchise.

Although the gameplay comprising The Sims 4 is simple to grasp, things can be made even easier when players purchase rewards from accumulating aspiration points. This list has been updated to include a few more worthwhile rewards that fans may want to snag sooner rather than later.

13 Quirk-B-Gone – 250 Points

Sims wishing to embark upon a career in Fame have to deal with both the good and bad such a lifestyle offers. Characters who develop Quirks can experience negative side effects when certain conditions aren't being met. They can become a little more annoying to manage the more famous a Sim becomes.

A cheap and effective solution to this problem is the Quirk-B-Gone potion. Drinking it lets the player remove a single Quirk of their choosing. Since it's quite inexpensive, players can keep a few of these potions on hand to nip unwanted Quirks in the bud.

12 Gym Rat – 500 Points

Sims Working Out From The Sims 4

Gym Rat is a fairly minor reward, but one that athletic Sims may find useful. Exercising for long periods of time drastically drains a Sim's Hygiene meter. It's practically mandatory that a Sim hit the showers after exercising. Otherwise, Sims run the risk of sickening others with their stink.

The Gym Rat trait eliminates the Hygiene decay a Sim experiences while exercising. This saves the player some valuable time on a given day. Gym Rat also increases a Sim's Fun meter while exercising, which is a nice added benefit, especially if one's Sim isn't active by nature.

11 Speed Cleaner – 500 Points

Sim Running A Vacuum Cleaner From The Sims 4

Time is valuable in The Sims franchise. Like in real life, Sims often have to spend time doing things they dislike. Daily chores such as cleaning one's house are a necessary evil unless living in a pigsty is no big deal. The Speed Cleaner trait can make this process less of a hassle.

With Speed Cleaner, Sims can tidy up their surroundings about 5x faster than they normally could. Keeping a neat household is now a lot more efficient. As such, Sims can worry less about cleanliness and focus more of their time on other pursuits.

10 Moodlet Solver – 500 Points

Bad Moodlets From The Sims 4

A Sim can experience a variety of different moods throughout their day. Positive moodlets make Sims happier and more productive. Conversely, negative moodlets make Sims cranky and irritable. Avoiding these negative emotions altogether is the key to a consistently happy character.

However, sometimes negative moodlets can't be skirted. For that, the Moodlet Solver potion is the answer. It's a single-use item that instantly rids a Sim of all their bad moodlets. Moodlet Solver is a handy potion to have in reserve for when those very bad days occur.

9 Mentor – 1,000 Points

Sim Mentoring Another Sim In Fitness From The Sims 4

Skill progression in The Sims 4 is a long process. Players can't master a skill overnight. It takes time, effort, and practice for a Sim to become an expert in a particular field. Sims that achieve that distinction have even more to offer with the Mentor trait.

Mentor allows Sims who reach Level 10 in certain skills to pass on their knowledge to those still learning. Sims that receive mentorship learn the skill much faster while under the tutelage of a more experienced character. Don't let a Sim's accumulated wisdom go to waste!

8 Speed Reader – 1,000 Points

Sims 4 Realm of Magic Reading for Skills

In a similar vein to the previous entry, any reward that increases a Sim's skill rate is a useful investment. As in real life, Sims can learn a lot from reading books. Skill gains from reading books, however, take time just like anything else. Fortunately, there's a reward that makes the process much easier.

The aptly named Speed Reader makes learning a skill from reading 2x faster. Players who want their Sims to learn skills via a bookcase should seriously consider this reward. At only 1,000 points, Speed Reader is certainly a reward that can be snagged sooner rather than later.

7 Potion Of Youth – 1,500 Points

Growing old is one of life's inevitabilities. Fortunately, that's not exactly the case in The Sims 4. Fans possess a few options regarding the extension of a Sim's lifespan. One method is to purchase the Potion of Youth from the Rewards Store.

Drinking the Potion of Youth resets the clock on Sim's current life stage. It's one of the pricier potions in the store, so it may be a good idea to plan ahead when it comes to using it. Enjoy shaving off those extra years!

6 Frugal – 2,000 Points

Mansion From The Sims 4

Money management is one aspect of daily life a player can't ignore for their Sims. Households receive bills that must be paid on a regular basis or else face the consequences. Cutting down the price of bills means more money in the pocket of one's Sim.

Frugal is a permanent trait that reduces the cost of a household's bills. This is especially useful for rich Sims considering the price of bills is scaled to the number of possessions a household owns. For Sims that are less well off, that extra money can come in handy.

5 Professional Slacker – 4,000 Points

The Sims 4 Sim In Law Career

Being able to slack off at work without any consequences sounds pretty enticing. In The Sims 4, players have to maintain a job well enough if they hope to bring home the cash that pays for their Sim's lifestyle. Too many mistakes can quickly result in Sims waiting in the unemployment line.

However, with the Professional Slacker reward, Sims no longer have to worry about their substandard efforts at work. With this reward, Sims can't be demoted or fired from their job no matter how much they phone in their performance. It's a useful perk for players who don't want their Sims' job getting in the way of all the other things that can be experienced in the game.

4 Hardly Hungry – 4,000 Points

Sims Eating Breakfast From The Sims 4

Managing a Sim's needs is one of the core gameplay mechanics of the franchise. The only way to "lose" in The Sims 4 is when all the characters in a household die. Neglecting a Sim's needs, such as Hunger, results in a surefire death.

The Hardly Hungry trait makes expiring from starvation much more difficult. The Hunger bar decays about 50% slower, requiring Sims to eat less. Since preparing meals can often be a time-consuming process, freeing up valuable time for other activities is beneficial. Hardly Hungry also doesn't eliminate the need to eat completely, preserving at least some realism to one's game.

3 Re-Traiting Potion – 5,000 Points

Re-Traiting Potion From The Sims 4

When creating a brand new Sim, selecting their personality traits is an important decision. Under normal circumstances, traits are permanent fixtures of a Sim's character. After all, it's not easy to alter someone's personality on a whim.

Nevertheless, the Re-Traiting potion does just that! Its cost is steep, but drinking it allows the player to reselect the traits of their Sim. If cheating isn't in one's wheelhouse, then using the Re-Traiting potion is certainly a legitimate way of changing a Sim's personality.

2 Forever Fresh – 8,000 Points

Sims 4 Fitness

As disgusting as it may sound, never having to bathe again in The Sims 4 can do wonders for a Sim's busy schedule. Active Sims, especially those who love to pump iron and participate in long exercise sessions, will find that their Hygiene bar takes a pounding every time.

Forever Fresh puts a stop to a Sim's Hygiene decay permanently. Put simply, sweat becomes a thing of the past! Not having to worry about a Sim's Hygiene makes increasing the Fitness skill less of a hassle since incorporating a quick workout session at any point in the day is now much more viable.

1 Never Weary – 10,000 Points

Sleeping Sim From The Sims 4

Human beings can't function without sleep. Sims operate in the same manner. Characters that are too tired will eventually collapse from exhaustion wherever they stand. Sleeping is mandatory unless players purchase the Never Weary trait for their Sim.

With Never Weary, the Energy bar never decays. Sims will no longer have any need for a bed. Since sleep is no longer necessary, Sims can spend that extra time working on skills or other activities. Obviously, this trait is immensely powerful and makes the game ridiculously easy.

The Sims 4 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
