Virtual Reality has opened up a whole new world of interactivity and fun for everyone. Adults can surely set up the technology needed to get these video games running, but that doesn't mean they're the only ones who can enjoy it! There's a whole bunch of VR games perfect for kids of all ages.
While there are a lot of mature games in VR nowadays, there are also plenty that don't contain anything questionable for kids. It's mostly another way to play games and have fun, but its interactivity can also present educational and brain-tickling experiences that any kid will get a lot from.

At their core, children generally have the strongest sense of imagination and desire for exploration, so games in virtual reality can help them to extend these desires and expand what they thought was possible in the world of video games and technology. PSVR games may not come out all that often, but that doesn't mean that there aren't still plenty of great PSVR games for kids for parents to keep their eyes out for.
14 Fruit Ninja VR
Fruit Ninja VR is a Virtual Reality remake of the classic mobile hit. In Fruit Ninja, the goal is to slice the fruits that are flying around to build up combos and gain abilities that allow players to slice more fruit. Simple? Yes. Addictive? Absolutely.
The VR version of this game brings in the 3D element, where fruits literally fly at players from all directions. It can get a bit hectic at times, which only adds to the excitement when a child eventually pulls off a ridiculously high score.
13 Angry Birds VR
A few years ago, one couldn't go anywhere without seeing somebody playing Angry Birds on their phone. The hype behind the game has died down in recent years a bit, but the VR version of the game brought back a little life to the series.
For the unfamiliar, Angry Birds tasks the player with launching birds with various abilities at buildings in an attempt to kill green little piggies. In the VR versions, the game is largely the same, but with a huge graphics overhaul and new ways to tackle stages.
12 NVIDIA VR Funhouse
The NVIDIA VR Funhouse is perhaps one of the most physically accurate VR games available right now. While it's technically NVIDIA's first game, their years of expertise with graphics and game engine optimization were put to good use by the Lightspeed Studios team.
As the title suggests, it's a classic Circus funhouse, complete with archery, multiple shooting galleries, basketball, whack-a-mole, and more. It's perfectly kid-friendly and well worth trying if minigames seem like a lot of fun for players.
11 Job Simulator
Although kids are probably a little too young to even start thinking about getting a job, Job Simulator is still a kid-friendly experience that won't jade them like a real job. There is surprisingly almost no adult content in this game, aside from grown-up responsibilities and themes.
Job Simulator lets players take on jobs in a variety of different scenarios from a cubicle worker to a convenience store clerk. There's not much in the way of story, and few repercussions for one's actions, so it's the perfect place to let a kid be a bit silly in a "real" simulator.
10 Infinite Minigolf
Infinite Minigolf is a PSVR-exclusive game that functions as both a creative game and a minigolf game. Half the game is making custom courses to share with others, and the other half is actually playing them.
It's technically an infinitely customizable game and its multiplayer modes allow players to take on other people both online and locally. It might take a sec to switch over the gear, but it's great for a night of minigolf without leaving the house.
9 Fantastic Contraption
Fantastic Contraption is one of the more educational games available on PSVR, but that doesn't mean it's not fun. The game tasks the player with building machines to accomplish given challenges with limited resources.
It works as both a puzzle game and a physics simulator, and it's both a brain tickler and a relaxing building game. It's not going to be for everyone, but it'll be great for kids who love to mess with objects and build things in real life.
8 Tilt Brush
Tilt Brush is not technically a game, but it's something everyone should experience regardless of being a kid or an adult. It's essentially a 3D painting studio, but as anyone who has played it can confirm, it's a lot more than that.
It's very customizable with different brushes, effects, and methods of painting, and the 3D canvas doesn't just extend around the player, it has depth and multiple brush strokes can be layered on top of each other in different planes. It's awe-inspiring and certainly a good pick for an artistic kid.
7 Squishies
Squishies is a traditional 3D puzzle game brought to VR in 2018. The visual style is adorable and vibrant, and the puzzles the game tasks the player to complete are somewhere perfectly between too easy and too hard.
It's a great game for inquisitive kids or kids who like colorful games, but be prepared to help them out if they are really young and attempting the game for the first time. It can get frustrating later on in the game, but it's nonetheless worth figuring out together.
6 GNOG
GNOG is a bit of a psychedelic puzzle game that is based in the "world of toys and secrets." It's a serene, peaceful game that has an extreme amount of interactivity – each "head" works like a real-life tactile toy with dozens of interactive, moving parts.
The game was originally not a VR game that was ported over to PSVR, and it was well worth it. The neon vibrancy of GNOG makes it stand out from other puzzle games, and it's sure to be a stunning experience for a young one too.
5 Carnival Games VR
Carnival Games VR is a remake of the original Carnival Games title that came out in 2007 for the Nintendo Wii. It's a franchise nobody expected to return, but the game's formula works perfectly in the VR space.
It's not quite as accurate to real-life physics as NVIDIA Funhouse is, but it's got its own unique style and a very kid-friendly assortment of games to play. Without going to the Arcade, it's the best way to play Skee Ball.
4 Paper Beast
The best thing an experience in virtual reality can do for a child is let their imagination run wild. Paper Beast is exactly the type of PSVR game that does this to the fullest extent. The game offers a vibrant and artistic sandbox that showcases a glimpse at a world that's both striking and inspiring in appearance.
It's one of the few games where the people playing it can simply be still and exist within its world and be awe-struck by what the medium and its technology are truly capable of. Anyone who has kids with active imaginations and a desire to wander and explore should check out Paper Beast.
3 Moss
Every generation, some kids discover The Lord of the Rings and are whisked away by the high fantasy adventure taking place across the main trilogy of books and adapted movies. Moss is a PSVR game that tries to capture both the whimsy and fantasy of those novels while providing an adorable rodent to befriend.
Children will build a relationship with Quill, the adorable mouse that sits at the forefront of Moss' adventure. Quill also uses sign language, so in terms of educational purposes, the game also teaches kids that communication comes in many forms.
2 Beat Saber
Beat Saber is a rhythm virtual reality game that asks the player to move to the beat and match the patterns flying across the screen to the beat of a specific song. The game offers various difficulties and provides enough movement for parents to be satiated with their kid playing a video game while also getting a bit of physical activity in.
Everyone to some extent loves moving to music and feeling it in their bones, and Beat Saber allows children to do it in the comfort and solace of virtual reality on the PSVR. It's unclear if a sequel is on the way, but Beat Saber does a good job of adding new music at a regular pace.
1 Astro Bot Rescue Mission
Not only is Astro Bot Rescue Mission a fun and enjoyable PSVR experience for all ages, but it's also often lauded as arguably the best PSVR game of all time. The best VR games are the ones that are enhanced and elevated by the technology and not those that are weighted down by it.
Astro Bot Rescue Mission stands on its own as an extremely well-designed platformer, but it's that baseline experience that's taken to the next level by virtual reality. The game's worth is inventive and will keep a child's imagination busy for hours as they try and take in the world they're experiencing.
