For many years, Netflix has been a big part of people's lives and has given them entertainment through fantastic movies and TV shows. However, there are fewer TV series with "regular" opening credits. Nowadays, most opening credits are basic and straight to the point. Fans get to see the title of the series on a background, written in a cool font and accompanied by some music. Fans have seen this trend with shows like You, Lupin, The Outerbanks, or even Emily is in Paris. Although some simple opening credits can be cool and memorable, like Stranger Things, it lacks creativity and the effect a "regular" one has on its fans. Fortunately, many series opted for a longer introduction instead of following the trend and keeping it short.
7 Cursed
This Netflix series, featuring Katherine Langford as the main character, may not have the best reviews, but they have one of the best opening credits. The series is based on Thomas Wheeler's novel, and the story gives fans a new perspective on the famous Arthurian Legends. Although the opening credits are a bit misleading as it can lead many fans to believe it is a story about the Little Red Riding Hood, with the wolves and the heavy presence of the color red throughout the intro, it's actually about Nimueh.
The opening credits and theme song give off a fairytale-like vibe but with a dark twist that will surely intrigue anyone into giving this fantasy series a try.
6 Locke And Key
Netflix's Locke And Key was loosely based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's comic of the same name. The series features many magical keys that open doors to different worlds throughout the season. Some keys like the head Key or the Music Box Key appear in the opening credits giving ideas of their purpose without spoiling anything. The introduction and plot of the show do not only remind people of their beloved children's books Narnia but that the world is full of possibilities.
The theme song also provides that feeling of wonder, curiosity, hope, and adventure that fans get when a new door opens, whether in the series or their daily lives.
5 The Witcher
The creativity behind The Witcher's opening credits hides in its simplicity. Every episode starts with its iconic theme song and features a different logo each time. Through these logos, fans can get an idea of which character will be present in the story and what event is to come.
At first glance, no one can guess the hidden meaning of each logo until they have watched the episode in question. Only after will the logo make sense and could be seen as a spoiler. Fans rarely skip this intro because they have too much fun guessing with their friends what the logo means before they are told.

Disenchantment was created by Matt Groening, the genius writer behind The Simpsons and Futurama. This animated series has one of the most fun opening credits on Netflix so far. The color palette and artwork style are light and simple enough to inform fans that it isn't a show to be taken seriously.
The opening credits may contain lots of spoilers (hidden in plain sight) for the events to come, but first-time watchers won't be able to catch on. Even though the theme song may have sounded weird to many fans at first, its catchiness has made it a fan favorite.
3 Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina may have ended sooner than expected and with a few plots holes, but it still holds a special place in its fans' hearts. The opening credits of this series pay tribute to the original comics that inspired the supernatural show by showcasing the original artwork.
The dark and eerie opening explores horror themes through a distinct color palette and beautiful and fantastic drawings. Any fans of the horror or the supernatural genre won't ever press the skip button on this one.
2 Bridgerton
This series has won the hearts of fans since its release on Netflix. Brigerton's opening credits are light, beautiful, and inspiring. It's considered one of the best due to its creative introduction to the series. The source of press and gossip in town gets delivered on paper, so it is fitting that some writing on a tree represents it.
Like the letters from Lady Whistledown, the tree is symbolic for furthering the story's plot and proceeds to show some significant moments through the animation of wood-carved objects and characters, like the crown or the couple dancing.
1 Arcane
Based on the video game League of Legends, this series is beautifully animated and full of meaningful details. The characters get introduced to fans through statues carved out of stone. Although fans got to meet the characters in the game, they don't know much about their backstories or what shaped them into the person they become. The statues represent that concept well since no one knows who shaped/carved them until fans watch the series. The conflict between Jinx and Vi is shown through their statues facing each other and is heard through the song "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons. Their statues shattering could mean two things; first, they will be responsible for their mutual destruction, and second, their future and identity aren't set in stone yet and could be subject to change.
It's one of the best openings so far because it manages to convey so much information in a short amount of time and without words. Plus, the song is so good that it is bound to get stuck in fans' heads.
