The plot of Scissor Seven is very similar that of the famed stage musical Sweeney Todd. It tells the story of the clumsy and broke Seven. After he fails to prove himself worthy as a killer, he opens a barbershop as a disguise and continues his quest to become an assassin.

While investigating an explosion, he comes across an unknown substance called "exotic matter" (XM). This discovery leads him down the road of horrifying visions and conspiracy theories. It's a short, easy-to-binge series. The good news is, there's already talk of the next season, although it's still unknown when that will air.

Forest of Piano hits all the notes, literally and figuratively. It's about two pianists: Shuhei, who has been professionally taught to play the instrument; and Kai, the child of a sex worker who learned to play the piano he found abandoned in the woods.

The story is exotic, and the show's musicality is truly special. Some people crave a higher quality in design and animation, but for those who are looking for a unique story, this is certainly a must-watch.

7 The Way Of The Househusband

The Way of the Househusband is a feel-good anime series, and a great one of that. The voice acting is amazing, the animation is endearing, and the story is funny in all the right places. It's a comedy about a former Yakuza member who has settled down to become a househusband to his wife.

Although it's a heartwarming and funny series, it sadly only has 5 episodes on Netflix, and it's unknown when more will come. On the bright side, its short season is easy to watch in a day or two.

In this series, two teens use their gamer logic and fancy equipment to bring down "Glitches." These glitches cause video game characters to manifest in the real world, causing havoc. Apart from capturing these Glitches, they also have to fix the damage and erase any memory of them to avoid further panic.

Glitch Techs is a cute, funny, and exciting series available now on Netflix. It's a great feel-good series and a fun way for gamers to unwind.

5 Disenchantment

Disenchantment is one of the most hyped-up animation series on Netflix today. The satirical fantasy was written for adults and has become a favorite of The Simpsons and Rick and Morty lovers. Viewers follow the journey of an alcoholic princess called Bean, her naive elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci.

With 3 seasons, it's certainly a good series to get into when looking for a longer commitment. And based on its success, it's almost certain that Netflix will release more seasons in the future.

4 She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power

An amazingly well-done remake of the classic animation series of the '80s, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power follows the story of Adora, who decides to join the princesses and fight the Horde, saving their world. Apart from the obvious storyline, it also touches subjects like love, friendship, abusive upbringing, and the fact that not everyone has a destiny, and even if they do, it doesn't come easy.

It's a surprisingly intelligent series and a breath of fresh air from the 80's version. It's a longer series, but worth a watch. And since the series is finished, viewers don't have to look forward to the empty feeling of waiting for the rest of the show to become available.

Think The Office, mixed with Rick and Morty, mixed with Gravity Falls. Inside Job is an office-comedy revolving around tech genius Reagan Ridley (who most likely portrays a character on the autism spectrum), working in the top-secret organization Cognito Inc.

Their main job is to keep conspiracies at bay and control the biggest secrets of the government, ranging from lizard people to a robot Avril Lavigne. It's light, it's funny, and it is one of the newest additions to the Netflix family.

2 Love Death + Robots

This post-apocalyptic series reminds a lot of people of the dark vibes of Black Mirror. Love Death + Robots follows three robots, K-VRC, XBOT 4000, and 11-45-G who are trying to understand humanity long after their demise.

The story revolves around a mystery that needs to be solved, sometimes taking the role of a classic crime show. Still, the world of Harlan and the immortality of humans is something worth discovering. The series does an amazing job depicting this world through law, religion, and the human psyche.
