Ravenous Devils is an interesting mix of genres. It is essentially Diner Dash, but replace Flo with Sweeney Todd. The player controls Percival and Hildred, a husband and wife who have just moved into a new house in a new city. Percival runs the tailor shop on the second floor while Hildred runs her pub on the first floor.

Here's where the game gets a tad interesting - Percival kills his customers so that Hildred can feed them to her customers. There's more to the game than that though. The player must grow the businesses, expand to new areas of the house, and try to keep expenses down. This list will include a few games that haven't been released yet, but are due to be released in 2022.

10 The Sims

Building a graveyard in The Sims

Let's get this one out of the way. The Sims games give the player so many options that the player could have their sims do something similar to what Percival and Hildred do in Ravenous Devils. It won't be as bloody, but the player can do pretty horrific things to their sims...or their sim's neighbors.

John Q. is an astronaut with a beautiful house. His wife, Jane, is an elected representative. Little do people know John has a murder shed in his backyard. He likes to lure neighbors into it with his pinball machine collection. Then John removes the doors to the murder shed, locking the victim in, and lets nature take its course. The Sims can be dark too, if that's what the player wants.

9 Cannibal Cuisine

Hunting for ingredients in Cannibal Cuisine

Cannibal Cuisine puts the player in control of an islander who hunts tourists in order to use their parts in recipes. The food made by the player is served to the idol of the god Hoochooboo. This game is made less gory thanks to its colorful, cartoon-like, graphics, but is nevertheless still only recommended for older players.

This game is a little different from the other games on this list by being a cooperative experience. Players must work together to satisfy the earthly idols of Hoochooboo. Cannibal Cuisine was released on May 2oth, 2020, and is available for the PC and Switch.

8 Surgeon Simulator

Operating on a patient in Surgeon Simulator

The player doesn't run their own business in Surgeon Simulator, so this isn't a business simulator in any way. What this game is, is gruesome. Surgeon Simulator lets the player cut into their patients and perform surgeries from a first-person view. Like Ravenous Devils, this game is filled with blood and moments that might make players play nausea simulator -whether they want to or not.

The visuals in this game are made even more gruesome by being realistic. The color-palette, though, is bright and uses vivd colors. This helps during the particularly bloody surgeries. Surgeon Simulator was released on Apr. 119th, 2013 for the PC.

7 Moonshine Inc.

Brewing some moonshine in Moonshine Inc

This game isn't available yet, but it will be released on Steam sometime in 2022. Moonshine Inc.'s name gives away the game's premise; the player makes moonshine and sells it while trying not to get caught by the authorities. The available screenshots show an incredibly detailed distillation process simulator. They also show the game has a resource management aspect via running the shop that serves as a front.

The interface looks simple, yet also comprehensive enough to give the player multiple avenues for making mistakes when brewing a new batch. This game doesn't involve cutting up people for cannibalistic purposes, but it is a resource management simulator of a criminal activity.

6 Horror Bar VR

Working the grill in Horror Bar VR

This game allows the player to own a bar that serves drinks and food containing human parts to horror-themed customers, like zombies. The hamburgers use brains, and the fries are fingers. The menu also includes such nasty things as rats and mutant fish. Despite what's on the menu the game isn't nearly as gory as Ravenous Devils.

This game sets itself apart from the other games on this list be being a VR game. This lets the player have an encompassing first-person view of the bar. Horror Bar VR is available on Steam and has mostly positive reviews. Horror Bar VR was initially released on Feb. 25th, 2021, and is available for the PC.

5 Cooking Simulator Shelter

Completing a quest in Cooking Simulator Shelter

Take Fallout: New Vegas and remove everything but hunting for recipe ingredients and cooking meals. That's pretty close to the experience Cooking Simulator Shelter delivers. The cooking mechanic in this game is naturally a lot more robust than that of Fallout.

This game also lets the player hunt in the wasteland for their own ingredients. Both the cooking and hunting parts of the game are played from a first-person perspective. This doesn't have the Victorian era horror aspect that Ravenous Devils contains; however, it's a cooking simulator that forces the player to use unconventional ingredients and get their hands "dirty". This was released on Nov. 18th, 2021 for the PC.

4 Four Course Dungeon

Hunting for ingredients in Four Course Dungeon

What is this game like? Add one part Masterchef, two parts Ziggeraut 2, and the result is Four Course Dungeon. In this game the player is participating in a contest where they must hunt fantastical creatures. The player then uses these ingredients to cook food for a culinary competition.

The game has a cartoon-like presentation and plays in the third person while the player is hunting for ingredients. The cooking aspect isn't as simple as following a recipe; there is a time limit and the cooking takes place in a "hostile kitchen cave". Four Course Dungeon is set to be released on Steam sometime in May 2022.

3 Human Farm

Preparing some food in Human Farm

This is another title that is not quite ready for launch, but gamers can put this on their Steam wishlist to get it as soon as it's released. In this gruesome game the player controls a terrifying humanoid pig creature who owns a butcher shop. As the name suggests, in Human Farm the player keeps humans for the purpose of stocking the butcher shop.

The game is played from a first-person perspective, and is horrifyingly realistic. Gamers not used to gore and blood should probably try another game on this list - judging from the promo video anyway. Screenshots also show some semblance of a store management simulator as well.

2 Project Zomboid

Cooking a meal in Project Zomboid

The cooking aspect of this game is admittedly a bit weak, but there is a cooking mechanic in Project Zomboid. This game puts the player in a zombie apocalypse, and forces them to scavenge or and hunt for supplies. The game's view is similar to Ravenous Devils; only in this game the player can get in a vehicle and explore, rather than being stuck in a house the whole game.

Project Zomboid is full of gory scenes and moments that will inspire feelings of panic and terror in the player. There isn't really a business simulator to found in this game, but staying alive during a zombie apocalypse is a full-time job. This was released on Nov. 8th, 2013 for the PC.

1 Godlike Burger

Cleaning up a mess in Godlike Burger

The premise of Godlike Burger is almost the same as Ravenous Devils. The player controls the owner of Good Burger; a restaurant with clientele on an interstellar level; many of the patrons of Good Burger are extraterrestrials. The player must grow the business while trying to not get caught killing patrons and using them in various recipes of secret sauces.

As stated, this game plays in a very similar fashion to Ravenous Devils. Godlike Burger is for people who played Ravenous Devils and thought it would be better if the protagonist looked like a trucker from the 1970s selling burgers to aliens, that he makes from his customers. Godlike Burger was initially released on Apr. 21st, 2022, and is available for the PC.
