Black Friday is right around the corner, which means its time for gamers everywhere to pick up some of the games they missed over the course of 2019. While the company has had its fair share of financial troubles this year, GameStop is still bringing gamers a ton of new deals to look forward to on Black Friday and some before, too. This year, GameStop will be opening at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving, an hour earlier than it did last year. However, the deals listed below are kicking off now, so those looking to pick something up may be able to do without standing in any lines. More will be popping up later, but there's still a healthy selection.

Console Deals

xbox history

First and foremost, there are some deals on consoles for those looking to pick up some new hardware before the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett release next holiday season. There's something for everyone, whether it be for fans or PS4 or Xbox One, and a ton of big games such as The Last of US Remastered and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are bundled in. Those that don't care about physical copies can also snag an Xbox One S All-Digital edition for the low, low price of $149.99. The sales are incredibly competitive with Walmart's console deals for Black Friday.

It's very rare that Nintendo puts the Switch on sale, and this year is no exception. The console isn't getting a price drop per se, but there will gamers will be able to snag a Nintendo Switch bundled with Mario Kart at no extra cost, though it doesn't look like that will be happening until Black Friday proper. It's disappointing that the console doesn't seem to be getting any major savings, but it's always possible that will change in a flash sale, or something of that nature.

Game Deals

There are, of course, some standout game deals this year too. Fans will be able to pick up some of the big games like Days Gone, Gears 5, and Spider-Man, all at a discounted price. There are plenty of other game deals slated to release on Black Friday, but those are definitely some of the standouts.

Other game deals include:

Accessory Deals

GameStop will also be giving some discounts on other gaming hardware. Primarily, players will be able to pick up both Xbox One controllers and PlayStation 4 controllers in a multitude of colors at a heavily discounted price point, as low as $38.99, including some of the nicer design colors that have been released recently. Similar controller deals will be available through Target, for those that don't have a GameStop near them.

The full ad is available on Gamestop's website, but all in all, it's a great time to pick up some games for dirt-cheap prices. Plus, there are plenty of other deals that will be popping up before Black Friday is all said and done. That being said, GameStop is one of the best places for those after raw game deals without the fluff of other electronics.
