EA is hosting an EA Play live stream tomorrow, a month after E3 2021. Luckily for EA fans, the upcoming EA Play is expected to provide players updates on some of the publisher's games that are in active development. While details about what will be shown at the event are still limited, EA did reveal which games players should not expect to see at EA Play.

In anticipation of EA Play, EA is currently holding a sale offering heavy discounts on its biggest games on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. However, it is worth noting that the sale only offers digital codes, which is something to keep in mind for players looking for physical games. Although the sale is not as extensive as before, here are the best EA games players can get at Amazon's sale right now.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition - $44.99

The latest game included in Amazon's sale is Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for the Xbox Series X/S, including the remastered versions of the first three Mass Effect games. Apart from Mass Effect 1 through 3, the Legendary Edition includes all 40 DLC expansions, alongside some new weapons, armors, and packs, all remastered and optimized for 4K Ultra HD.

It is worth remembering that BioWare and EA just released Mass Effect: Legendary Edition last May, and the discounted price right now is perfect for those who still haven't purchased the bundle. Currently, players can get Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for $44.99 or 25% off its original price of $59.99. Shortly after its release, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition received mostly positive reviews thanks to all the changes that improved the originals without detracting from the core experience of the popular trilogy.

It Takes Two - $29.99

It Takes Two Title

Another 2021 EA game currently on sale at Amazon is It Takes Two, an action-adventure game released in March 2021. It Takes Two is currently available for $29.99 for the Xbox Series X/S, 25% off its current price of $39.99. For the uninitiated, It Takes Two blends elements from platform games with action-adventure. The game is specifically made for co-op, which means that two players can play together through local or online play.

It Takes Two puts players in control of Cody and May, a married couple who have decided to get a divorce. After the couple informed their daughter Rose, the girl takes her hand-made dolls that look like her parents and tries to repair their relationship via play-acting. Shortly after its release, It Takes Two garnered positive reviews thanks to its seamless co-op gameplay and story that is captivating and touching.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - $15.99

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Next-Gen Release

Another noteworthy action-adventure game players can get at a discount right now is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is available for $15.99 or 60% off its original price of $39.99. Upon its release, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was both a critical and commercial success, and because of its high performance, EA revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first game of a new franchise, suggesting that a sequel is in the works sometime in the future.

At the upcoming EA Play, many hoped that the event would see the official reveal of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2. But, unfortunately, EA already confirmed several days ago that players shouldn't expect to see any Star Wars games at the upcoming event, which could be a mistake on EA's part, given that Fallen Order 2 could serve as EA's contender among the many anticipated games that are currently in development. Therefore, while Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will not be featured at EA Play, it is still possible that its official reveal will take place sometime this year or early 2022 at the latest.
