Injustice was a DC Comics game and comic series which takes place in one of the many universes in the vastness of the DC Multiverse. It features a Superman who has become an evil tyrant and a Batman who will always resist such tyranny. Their friendship in the feud is a tragedy in the DC Universe, one that begins a war between heroes and villains, where no one is safe.

After the release of Injustice 2, fans eagerly await an Injustice 3, which could bolster a rather interesting and fun roster, considering the second game brought fans Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the doors are open for anyone to join in on the fighting fun.

10 Booster Gold

A DC fan favorite, Booster Gold has had quite the chaotic adventures, mostly with his best buddy Ted Kord. Booster Gold’s superhero costume is a great blend of gold and blue and shines out amongst other heroes. He’s flashy, egotistical, and would be a great addition to the Injustice roster.

Canon in the Injustice comics isn’t overly important for characters to be introduced. Booster Gold could make his appearance through his usual gimmick of time travel, the very thing that made him a hero in the first place. Seeing this charismatic oddball would bring great fun and chemistry to the Injustice 3 roster.

9 Plastic Man

There are no characters in the Injustice universe more deserving of a spot in the fighting game than that Plastic Man. This character received his long-overdue triumph as one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe thanks to Tom Taylor’s Injustice comic series.

With his snazzy outfit, and constant quips and snarks, he would not only be a great comedic voice for the game, but his powers would make for interesting fights. His body is completely malleable, and he can stretch and form his body into great lengths and objects. His fighting style and combos would be a blast.

8 Big Barda

There is a great cosmic universe in DC Comics, one that has been heavily underutilized in both film and video games. The inclusion of Big Barda would start the course to introduce players to the New Gods and Apokolips. Big Barda was a member of Darkseid’s army, the Female Furies, and later left to join the Justice League. She would have been a great addition to the things DC changed in the Injustice Animated Movie.

Big Barda would be a great addition to the game because of her strength as a New God, and her intimidating height. Her superhuman abilities make her a great fighter, and her Mega-Rod would be a great weapon for her to use in the game.

7 Captain Carrot

As an analogy to Superman, Captain Carrot could be a great introduction into the Injustice universe for both his ridiculous cartoon aesthetic and the parallel to what is now an evil Superman. Captain Carrot is a part of DC’s Multiverse, and despite the worst odds and bleak times, his cartoon optimism shines through.

Earth 26 is where Captain Carrot resides, and the Cartoon Physics of that universe allows for him to be crushed flat, or decapitated, and soon return to normal as long as he has his Cosmic Carrots. His powers are the same as Superman, making for a fierce fighter.

6 He-Man

The titular character of the Masters of the Universe franchise has been no stranger to the DC Universe before. He-Man had an involvement in the Injustice universe, with Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe. He-Man would be the perfect guest character for the roster and excite fans for what the potential could be for other guest characters.

As the most powerful man in the universe, thanks to the powers of Grayskull, He-Man would be an exceptional warrior against the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman. His 80s charm would shine through, and bring nostalgia to almost any fan of the He-Man franchise.

5 Peacemaker

Thanks to James Gunn, Peacemaker has quickly gone from D-list to A-list. The Suicide Squad and the HBO Max show Peacemaker are to thank for this character’s success. It would be great to see Peacemaker welcomed into the Injustice universe, especially if John Cena can return to voice him and his foul mouth.

With his giant pistol, ridiculous helmet, and pet eagle, Peacemaker would be a lot of fun in Injustice 3. This character stops at nothing for peace, meaning he could be on Batman or Superman’s side, depending on whose war would provide the greatest interest for peace on earth. His grotesque need for violence would make some great "brutalities".

4 Etrigan

Gone! Gone! – The form of man – Rise, the Demon Etrigan!” This Demon prince of Hell is bound to the mortal body of Jason Blood. Together, they have become close comrades and fierce enemies. Battling for over a millennium, The Demon has an unreliable allegiance to both good and evil.

Bringing Etrigan into the Injustice games would be a great way to utilize the untapped potential of the magic in the DC Universe. His powers and unique way of speech make for a great character that belongs on the roster. Especially since his demon appearance is cool to many fans of the comics.

3 Johnny Cage

Injustice has a running theme with its past two titles in which a Mortal Kombat character will guest. This is mainly because Warner Bros. owns both properties, and NetherRealm Studios make both Mortal Kombat and Injustice. The Joker has also been part of the Mortal Kombat roster in turn.

With the newest Injustice inevitably having a Mortal Kombat character, Johnny Cage is long overdue for his opportunity to punch people’s groins and shout his snarky abuse at costumed heroes and villains. He has always been a fan-favorite character and served as the protagonist in Mortal Kombat X.

2 Captain Boomerang

Another loud mouth to add to the roster, this blaring Australian criminal could have great potential as a fighter in the DC Comics-based game. His boomerangs are a part of his gimmick, and a talented one at that. He could throw his boomerangs, and players would have to judge when and where to duck, dodge or block the incoming boomerang assault.

His many boomerang gadgets could be used to a great effect, and since he is one of the playable characters in Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, he could be a great addition to the Injustice roster. His friendship with Harley Quinn could be fun to see in the back and forth dialogue before the fighting begins.

1 Robotman

DC’s wacky family of oddballs and outcasts, The Doom Patrol, has a rather successful TV show with Brendan Fraser voicing the character. He’s a funny character, with a tragic past. Suffering from a fatal crash at a race, only to have his brain salvaged and put inside a robot body. Clifford Steele’s personality doesn’t waver, and he continues to wear cool clothes, but with a newfound strength.

Robotman’s inclusion in Injustice 3 means a great representation of the Doom Patrol team and an acknowledgment of their fun adventures. His strength would be a great fit into the game, as he can often resort to mindless violence to get out of predicaments.

Injustice 3 is rumored to be in development.
