As the holiday season approaches, consumers are gearing up for the best deals on video games and other electronics. While Black Friday is still over a month away, Best Buy has revealed its plans for sales in the weeks leading up to November 26. Even though many past Black Friday events consisted of one-day sales, companies like Best Buy are changing that. According to the Black Friday schedule for Best Buy, the deals begin well in advance.

Consumers will not have to wait long to start shopping for deals, as Best Buy announced that its first Black Friday sale begins on Tuesday, October 19. Despite still being October, this isn’t stopping the retailer from revealing some impressive deals. According to a press release from the company, customers can find deals on many products such as laptops, TVs, SSDs, and much more. This first wave of discounts goes through Friday, October 22.

A week after this first sale, Best Buy will begin offering a price guarantee on purchases before Black Friday. Starting on Monday, November 1, customers that buy qualifying items from the retailer are eligible for a refund of the price difference if the purchased item drops to a lower advertised price before Friday, November 26.

It’s worth noting that to qualify for the price guarantee, customers must have a free My Best Buy account. If they do not have this account, a Best Buy Totaltech account works as well. However, unlike the My Best Buy account, this membership costs $199.99 per year. Nevertheless, a number of benefits are included, such as notifications about PS5 and Xbox Series X/S restocks.

While Best Buy is looking to keep the deals coming throughout the weeks leading up to November 26, the official start of the Best Buy Black Friday sale begins on Friday, November 19. According to the retailer, there are “1,000s” of deals for customers. While the exact details of the sale remain unknown, it seems reasonable to assume that many popular video games along with TVs and monitors to play those games will be on sale.

Besides these lead-up sales, there will be many deals online during Thanksgiving day, and customers can journey to their local Best Buy stores on Black Friday, November 26, to attempt to pick up many in-store deals. Furthermore, Cyber Monday sales begin on the Best Buy website immediately following Black Friday.

With Best Buy offering many opportunities to save before, during, and after Black Friday, the retailer seems ready to catch the attention of holiday shoppers. It will be interesting to what deals other retailers advertise in the coming weeks as well.
