My Hero Academia has produced some interesting partnerships over the seasons; some disturbing, others heartwarming, and several with epic entertainment value. While friendship isn't necessarily the predominant theme in this shonen anime, it certainly holds great significance to each Hero's personal progress throughout the narrative.

Although Midoriya and Bakugo demonstrate their own warped interpretation of friendship, this pair lacks that certain level of affection and admiration that comes with a true bromance. The following brave boys put their feelings of fondness on full display, unashamed of their brotherly bonding sessions in My Hero Academia.

8 Tetsutetsu And Kirishima

Best Bromances in My Hero Academia Tetsutetsu and Kirishima Class 1-A Class 1-B Hardening Quirk Crunchyroll

These two peas in a pod both possess a hardening Quirk that quite literally makes them the toughest guys around. Their egos and competitive natures had Tetsutetsu and Kirishima butting heads at their first encounter during the Sports Festival, but their rivalry quickly became friendlier as the pair focused on their commonalities instead.

When Red Riot's sub-par performance in the Joint Training Battle left the poor lad feeling inadequate, Real Steal quickly offered up support and encouragement to his friend, subsequently plastering that iconic smile right back on Kirishima's face. Similarly, it was cute watching Tetsutetsu and Kirishima team up again for Hero-Work Studies, under the watchful eye of Fat Gum.

7 Eraser Head And Present Mic

Best Bromances in My Hero Academia Eraser Head and Present Mic Pro Heroes UA Teachers Crunchyroll

These two UA teachers couldn't have more opposing personalities and so it was quite surprising to discover that they are actually childhood friends. Eraser Head is the strong and silent type with minimal energy reserves, whereas Present Mic has enough audio potency and excitability to out-party any youngster.

Eraser Head and Present Mic were once part of a trio of prospective Heroes before the 17-year-old Oboro Shirakumo sadly died during his Hero-Work Studies. The pure strength of their camaraderie comes to light when the truth behind Kurogiri's origin is revealed, and the besties immediately seek out vengeance for their fallen friend (well, after first shedding a few tears.)

6 Inasa And Shoto

Best Bromances in My Hero Academia Inasa and Shoto Crunchyroll

Admittedly, using the term bromance for this pair is a bit of a stretch, but if Inasa has his way, Shoto and Gale Force will become the best of friends! This duo clashed quite disastrously during the Provisional Hero License Exam but eventually ended up creating one of the most overpowered combos in My Hero Academia so far, by efficiently combining their wind and fire elements.

After realizing how highly compatible their Quirks actually are, and atoning for the past egotistical and presumptuous misconduct, Inasa makes great efforts to befriend Shoto. While the Icy Hot emo may not have shown much enthusiasm, he is making an effort to be kinder and more accepting of his new admirer and plays along quite pleasantly.

5 Mirio And Tamaki

Best Bromances in My Hero Academia Mirio and Tamaki Big Three Crunchyroll

The Big Three Boys have been buddies since way before their respectable statuses were solidified; when Mirio and Tamaki were still the ridiculed underdogs at UA High School. Poor Tamaki is crippled by social anxiety and struggles to interact with others, but Mirio took the initiative to introduce himself one day and quickly became Suneater's closest companion.

Lemillion's optimistic attitude is infectious enough to sway even Tamaki's dark outlook on life, who is regularly fueled by his ally's words of encouragement. The fact that Suneater has enough confidence to singlehandedly take on three villains during the Shie Hassaikai Raid is a testament to how powerful Mirio's positive influence is.

4 Gran Torino And All Might

Best Bromances in My Hero Academia Gran Torino and All Might Pro Heroes Crunchyroll

It is rare for the former No. 1 Hero to not have the best solution in mind, and when those moments do come around, there is no hesitation about who to call. Gran Torino and All Might have a strong father-son type bond, as My Hero Academia's very own Yoda has been a part of All Might's life since his school days.

Although All Might became a Pro-Hero many years ago, he still seems to consider Gran Torino to be his mentor. "Toshinori" may appear to be truly terrified of the old man, however, he simply doesn't want to be at the backend of those harsh disciplinary measures again and still hold the speedster in the highest regard.

3 Bakugo And Kirishima

My Hero Academia Two Heroes Kirishima And Bakugo Formal Attire

The most unlikeable pupil in Class 1-A is apparently allergic to teamwork and prefers to go off on his own mission, regardless of how dangerous the situation is. While most of his classmates have given up on convincing Bakugo to cooperate, Kirishima still has hope and follows the delinquent around like his own personal Dark Shadow.

Kirishima is not deterred by Bakugo's insults or protests over the undesired companionship and prioritized his friend's safety above all else, subsequently endangering himself in the process by regularly splitting off from the main group. Bakugo reluctantly begins to accept Kirishima (and eventually Kaminari, too) as his unofficial sidekick and ensures to offer protection in return (in his own way.)

2 Hawks And Twice

My Hero Academia: Season 6 Episode 1 Hawks and Twice Paranormal Liberation Front Crunchyroll

Now, this may be a relatively new friendship (and one that is filled with deceptive lies and misplaced faith), however, watching Hawks and Twice interact is entertaining nonetheless. During the covert operation involving the Paranormal Liberation Front, Takami and Bubaigawara find themselves spending a great deal of time together, and seem to hold a mutual admiration for one another.

While Twice gushes over how trustworthy his new friend is, Hawks assesses his Quirk as potentially the greatest threat around. Nevertheless, he still offers up advice and guidance regarding Destro's philosophies, which suggests that he may possibly wish to recruit Bubaigawara as an ally. The masked menace is not a horrible guy at heart, after all, he just struggles immensely with mental health issues and only experience acceptance amongst the villains.

1 All Might And Deku

My Hero Academia Midoriya and All Might

Take All Might and Gran Torino's relationship and add a tonne more love and affection (with a bucketload of fangirling) and, Bam! Deku and All Might have arrived! While Midoriya's own father is conspicuously absent, the former No 1 Hero easily assumes that role and has literally dedicated his life to raising the young boy and assisting Deku with One For All's capabilities.

Deku is arguable All Might's No 1 fan and wants nothing more than to make his idol happy, while All Might has great veneration for Deku's determination and shows tremendous pride in his progress. Unlike Endeavor, this Hero values his underling's safety more than simply producing epic results and takes full responsibility for Deku's wellbeing.

Season 6 of My Hero Academia is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
