The two of them decide to defeat their odds and steal 14 million dollars during one of the largest American car races.
Even though each of them is different, the brothers still manage to work together as a team. The movie's sense of humor, tension-filled moments, as well as its excellent cast (including Daniel Craig alongside Driver and Tatum), all make Logan Lucky a great way to spend two hours.
7 The Report (2019)
Based on true events, this movie's premise is chilling. It portrays the brutal interrogations after the 2001 terrorist event that destroyed the Twin Towers in New York City. 6 Silence (2016)
Making this movie was Martin Scorsese's long-time dream, and he finally managed it in 2016. Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield play two Christian missionaries who search for their lost mentor (Liam Neeson) in Japan.
The movie is visually beautiful, and since it doesn't use many words, the actors had a real challenge in front of them when making. Nevertheless, they did an excellent job. While the movie's topic won't necessarily interest everyone, its overall form and Driver's performance make it a true work of art.
5 Paterson (2016)
Jim Jarmusch has a specific style that makes his movies stand out among most films today. He and Adam Driver have worked together twice, and Paterson marks the first time they did so. Driver plays the titular Paterson, a bus driver who lives with his wife and likes to write poetry.
The movie doesn't include any major drama. Instead, it focuses on the extraordinary, ordinary life of one man. Paterson is ultimately a feel-good movie, since it shows that even seemingly ordinary lives can be beautiful.
4 BlacKkKlansman (2018): 7.5
Some of the best movies out there are based on true stories — even though it might be difficult for audiences to believe that such events really happened. In BlacKkKlansman, John David Washington stars as Ron Stallworth, a policeman who manages to infiltrate the infamous Ku Klux Klan. Adam Driver appears as Flip Zimmerman, a fellow policeman who's sympathetic to Stallworth's efforts.
The movie manages to combine drama and humor, and educates the audience in a way that will keep them entertained for more than two hours. Spike Lee is one of the most talented directors of this time, and this movie proves it yet again.
3 The Last Duel (2021)
House of Gucci isn't the first time Adam Driver has appeared in a Ridley Scott movie. The Last Duel tells the story of two friends in medieval France who eventually become enemies. Unsurprisingly, the reason for the enmity between them is a woman: the wife of one friend accuses the other of sexually assaulting her.
Matt Damon and Adam Driver play the former friends Jean and Jacques, while and Jodie Comer gives an excellent performance as Jean's wife Marguerite. The movie lasts for over 150 minutes but keeps the audience invested, since it's unclear how the story will end, who will live, and who will die.
2 Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015)
Of all Star Wars movies featuring Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, this one is the best-rated. The movie introduces Kylo Ren as a mysterious and powerful young villain who's still finding out who he wants to be in life. His struggle makes him relatable, despite the misdeeds he commits.
The movie was a welcomed and heavily expected return to the world of Star Wars. While not all fans of the franchise enjoyed Kylo Ren's character, Driver still did an amazing job in the role. He then went on to reprise it in the following two movies.
1 Marriage Story (2019)
Some of the best movies manage to portray life as people know it, both the good and the ugly. Scarlett Johansson and Adam Drive shine on Netflix as a wife and a husband who are about to get divorced and have to take care of their son.
Marriage Story is primarily a conversational drama, and delivers a bittersweet story thanks to the excellent acting performances of the main duo. It isn't always easy, to watch but when it comes to its chosen topic, it's truthful about how difficult a divorce can be.
