Twisted Alice's Role In Bendy And The Ink Machine

Twisted Alice in BATIM

Like many of the characters in the Bendy series, the different versions of Alice Angel come from a cartoon character that Joey Drew and Henry Stein created. Alice Angel was one of their most popular characters, alongside Boris the Wolf and Bendy himself. Alice Angel was originally voiced by Susie Campbell, only to be replaced by Allison Pendle.

Wanting to bring his cartoon characters to life, Drew transformed both voice actresses into Alice Angel lookalikes. Susie Campbell became Twisted Alice, while Allison Pendle transformed into Allison Angel.

By the time Joey had turned his employees into the characters he made, his partner, Henry, had left Joey Drew Studios. Decades later, however, he would return and meet Twisted Alice. She agreed to help him find a way out of the studio if he gave her the items she wanted, only to betray him and his friend Buddy Boris, another one of Joey's victims.

Twisted Alice transformed Buddy into Brute Boris and forced him to fight Henry. After Henry defeated him, Twisted Angel tried to finish her creator off herself, only to be killed by Allison Angel seconds before she could.

Allison Pendle, before transforming into the character she voiced, married Thomas Connor. While Joey turned Allison Pendle into Allison Angel, he also transformed Tom into another Boris lookalike. After rescuing Henry, Allison and Tom helped him find his way to the Ink Demon, the final boss of the game.

However, as a river of ink was in their path, Allison and Tom couldn't face the Ink Demon themselves as they would die upon going into the ink. This caused them to have to leave Henry all on his own for the rest of Bendy and the Ink Machine.

Twisted Alice and Allison Angel Will Return in Bendy And The Dark Revival

While little is known about the roles that they will play in the story, both Twisted Alice and Allison Angel have been confirmed to return in the upcoming sequel. As the events of Bendy and the Ink Machine take place in a time loop, Twisted Alice returns every single time that she is killed. In the trailer for Bendy and the Dark Revival, she can quickly be seen laughing while shooting a gun, though it remains a mystery who she is attacking.

As for Allison Angel, it seems from the trailer that she will once again help the playable character. However, instead of Henry, players will control a new character named Audrey. In the trailer, Allison Angel encounters Audrey and lets her know that she is not a threat to her, though Audrey is unsure if she can trust her. Allison Angel then warns Audrey to stay away from the Ink Demon.

As of now, it is unclear how much of an impact these two versions of Alice Angel will make in Bendy and the Dark Revival, but Rooster Teeth clearly has big plans for them. There are many mysteries regarding both of the characters that were left unsolved in the original game, and fans will surely get to know more about them when the sequel releases.

Bendy and the Dark Revival is releasing on PC on November 15, with PlayStation and Xbox ports coming soon after.
