Matt Damon is no stranger to internet pranks. In fact, his commitment to humor rivals his passion for acting if one is to take a guess from his long-running fake feud with late night host Jimmy Kimmel. Given that, then it’s no wonder the actor is also willing to publicly troll his childhood friend, Ben “Pattison took your Batman job” Affleck. But it's not just for laughs.

Damon and Affleck’s friendship goes all the way back to elementary school back in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where the pair grew up pretty close to each other, both figuratively and literally, as neighbors. Damon’s friendship with Affleck was not only part of what motivated him to get into acting, he also got his first breaks as an actor alongside Affleck, before moving on to jointly write and co-star their breakout production, Good Will Hunting.

While Affleck has always joked about how his friend’s jealousy was part of what drove Damon into acting, the Bourne series’ star is currently having the last laugh, as he pokes fun at Affleck’s less than stellar stint as Bruce Wayne in the DC Universe.

The bit, posted on Affleck's Twitter because Damon doesn't have one, comes as part of a campaign promoted by Omaze, a company dedicated to organizing unique contests meant to raise money for charity, in this case Water.org and Affleck’s own non-profit organization, the Eastern Congo Initiative.

What’s the prize this time? Well, definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity, as the winner will be put on a flight to Los Angeles where they’ll get the chance to hang out, share a meal with Affleck and Damon, and of course, shell out their best collection of Batman and Gigli jokes. Much to Affleck’s dismay, Jeremy Renner is definitely not joining the group for lunch.

As much flak as he’s taken for his Batman, Affleck might get a small shot at redemption in the upcoming Snyder Cut version of Justice League, or even in his confirmed appearance as the bat in The Flash, alongside Michael Keaton, one of those people who, according to Damon, also played Batman, but better. Meanwhile, since he'll still have to put up with his friend's jokes forever, at least he's making something good out of it.
