Taking pictures of cute creatures is an amazing way to pass the time. Everyone's seen it with New Pokemon Snap, so what if the Pokemon were replaced with dogs? Another great idea for a game! That's essentially Pupperazzi, a first-person photography game where the player's objective is to take various pictures of dogs. It came out January 20 and had a day-one release on Game Pass, which is definitely exciting for its subscribers.
Pupperazzi has various mechanics. There are tons of filters, camera types, angles, accessories, and, most importantly, dog breeds. Knowing a bit of everything before diving in will tremendously help new players as they adapt to the game and understand the basics. So, here are a few tips that will provide an early advantage.
7 Pick Up All Item Bubbles
In Pupperazzi, there are tons of items, from Frisbees to sticks or even violins and most of them have a different purpose. It's important to experiment with them all, because they will each trigger the dogs to pose in all sorts of ways. It's often common to find item bubbles in the different areas of the map.
Item bubbles will sparkle and hold a small item inside. Walking through them will unlock them and cause them to appear in the vending machines, so they'll always be available.
6 Take Pictures Of Nearly Everything, Even If It Feels Silly
The game has a Puppypedia which gamers can complete, but it's not only for the different dog breeds, it's also for several activities the dogs can participate in. Plus, even involves sillier things, like taking pictures of dogs blinking and sleeping.
There are also achievements that don't have to feel grindy if started early. These include taking 30 pictures of dogs wagging their tails or taking 20 pictures of humans (sorry, "Humanorphs.")
5 Don't Use Moving Items Near Water
Certain items will bounce or even move on their own, for example, volley balls and robot vacuums. It's best not to set items loose near the water, because they will most likely go in and get lost.
Sometimes they will be at the bottom of a lake, in which case they'll be salvageable. However, if they're lost near the ocean it'll be too late and the only solution is having to get new ones, which feels like a pain.
The game isn't as long as New Pokemon Snap, but it'll give players a good two to five hours of fun. There's no need to extend that time with extra trips to the vending machine. Therefore, when trying to take pictures with items, it's best to move away from the water and do it someplace else.
4 Invest In More Film Early On
Bonks are the Pupperazzi's currency, and look like golden bones. Players will earn them as they explore the world and complete requests. Then, when accessing the vending machines, players can get upgrades in exchange for the bonks they've gathered.
There are several camera filters and lenses, so it may be tempting to use bonks on them straight away. However, film will run out pretty soon, and it can be a bit of a pain to constantly recycle old film. So, it's wise to invest in more film as soon as possible.
3 Try New Filters And Lenses
Trying things that one wouldn't normally try is a great way to get out of one's comfort zone and take creative photographs, as well as an awesome way to earn new followers quickly. Typically, followers will increase faster when new filters and lenses are used. New followers will even comment on these new features when the pictures are posted.
It's also common to get requests that require a certain type of filter or lenses. Thus, gaining more followers is important to unlock more shop items at the vending machine.
2 Choose Posts Wisely And Don't Spam
Although it's possible to post as many photos as one wants each day, it's best not to, because followers won't appreciate the spam. A new day will only start once the player decides to leave the area. So, to avoid leaving and returning to the same place so often, it's crucial to choose wisely which pictures should be posted, and which ones should be recycled or kept saved in the archive.
When a certain number of pictures has been posted, the follower count won't go up anymore. Players will only receive angry comments complaining about spam, with a "0+" on the side. Initially a comment or two about spam will appear alongside positive comments, but eventually it'll all be complaints.
1 Dress Up Dogs
Eventually, it becomes possible to dress up dogs by approaching them and selecting the "Edit" button. Doing this will of course increase one's follower count ,because pictures of dogs in cute outfits will always work much better.
There is also a wide variety of different articles of clothing and there are tons of combinations. It also gives off Nintendogs vibes, a classic in which players could put silly hats, wigs, ribbons, glasses, and collars on their adorable puppers.
