In the management simulation called Bear and Breakfast, players will need to collect as many building materials as possible in order to make bigger and better motels. There are many items that can be difficult to find, including the item called porcelain chunks.
What are Porcelain Chunks For in Bear and Breakfast?
When playing all 30 hours of Bear and Breakfast, the main character, a bear named Hank, will need to find all sorts of building materials. There are some items that seem to be everywhere, like plywood planks, and some items that are rare, like iron nails. One of the items that are somewhere in the middle are porcelain chunks; these can be hard to spot at first, but they respawn on the regular in one specific area of the map.
These chunks are used in order to spruce up some buildings. The Motel in A24 needs 10 of these items in order to remodel the building before Hank can even begin creating rooms inside it. Thankfully, players of this indie game can find these chunks very close by to the Motel itself.
Where to Find Porcelain Chunks
Porcelain chunks are found in the desert around the outskirts of the map in this Animal Crossing-like game. These rock piles can be found all the way around the desert's exterior, and they will contain anywhere from zero to five of these chunks.
Stone bricks can also be found in these piles. They are fairly easy to spot, too, since the piles sparkle, and they are more yellow-brown than the red-brown dirt around them. Interact with the pile with E to pick through it, then press E again to pick it all up.
When Do Resources Respawn in Bear and Breakfast?
A great thing for new players of Bear and Breakfast to know is how often items like the porcelain chunks will respawn. Thankfully, materials found around in the environment come back every day, so if Hank is in need of more chunks, he can just snooze the evening away.
In order to sleep, wait until full nighttime, then press the moon and star button in the bottom on-screen menu. Unfortunately, there are some items that don't ever respawn, like iron nails, so sleeping won't bring everything back.
But this is still a great way to refill Hank's inventory after a building spree in the hotel management video game called Bear and Breakfast.
